Yeah. To be honest, I'm usually most attracted to broken characters, ones that aren't the best people yet have a reason for their behavior and internal struggles and demons they must face. I find them to be deep, relatable, and interesting characters. I feel I find characters that usually show admirable behavior a bit boring personally, but it all depends.

@Lambdadelta I've already mentioned many times what more I could ask for, so I don't think I need to repeat myself. I kinda hated "All Bottled Up," but I wouldn't say she was overly nice in that; it's "Shadow Play" where you want to look for that kind of behaviour from her. And "Starlight without her fuck ups is like Discord without his reality warper antics" is kinda exactly my problem with her. At least Discord would still be an asshole. 

@AlexanderThrond You expect Starlight doing some fuck up things in that finale? oh come on, she messed up in nearly every episode she appeared that nearly make some people roll their eyes, and when she finally apply her lesson with sincerity and you hate that? 

Discord still chaotic because he is an embodiment of Chaos itself and his behaviors determined his existence. Starlight is a pony, a person who can grow, you expect Pinkie will always do some crazy shit and Fluttershy is always shy? That's flanderization. Some obnoxious characters i have known in animation are not obnoxious all the time and they can have their heroic moments as well, even its rare.
