Rhett attention was back to full when he picked up on a faint whispering. Even though he couldn't make it out, he could hear it a lot more clearly than the average man. He was trained like that, and it did have it's perks from time to time. Deciding he had moped around long enough, he stood up and walked into the kitchen, paying no mind to the ponies. He grabbed his bowl of cereal, but realized it had become to soggy for his liking. As he dumped the bowl in the garbage, he glanced to Melody and Gleaming. He opened his mouth to say something, but just grunted softly and put the empty bowl into the sink, as well as Melody's, who he hoped didn't mind.

Rhett listened to the ponies' conversation, still face down on the couch. The more he listened, the more questions he had. 'Royal Guard? Princesses? There's no way they're from the United Kingdom.' He thought. 'What are they even talking about with the portals? Oh, magic...right...' Suddenly, he found himself short in oxygen from the sofa, so he picked up his head and got his breath back together. Once he was good again, he simply sat back and stared blankly at the black TV screen, letting his mind wander.

Rhett moved aside, letting Gleaming have some space to move. "Race, Human. Name, Rhett." He sighed, wondering if it would become routine. He closed the door and went into the living room, plopping on the couch face first. "Why me, God? Why me of all people?" He mumbled.

"Oh, I've been doing good. Smithing's good for the body, and the pay isn't bad." Kathia smiled, but then glanced over to Rose. Sam couldn't tell what she was thinking, but it didn't seem like it was anything bad. Suddenly, Kathia called to Rose. "Hey, you just going to stand there or come say hello?" She said with a hearty smile. "I ain't gonna hurt you, just talk is all."

@Tiger Lily Kathia put down her tools and stood up, rushing over to Sam for a hug. "Kathia, that's not-" Sam was cut off as he was brought into a bone crushing embrace. "It's so good to see you, Sammy!" She chuckled and let him go. "Wow, look at you! Beard and everything, so now you don't look like a massive dolt!" Sam scratched the back of his neck,"Yeah, I figured you would say that. How have you been? Pa was worried when you moved here, so call me curious."

@Tiger Lily Sam turned back and gave a heavy sigh, then walked up to Kathia. The woman was a Human, had bright blonde hair with hints of grey and was wearing the usual attire for a smith. "Kathia!" He called over the loud banging. "Kathia, over here." She turned around, and for a moment, had a con fused look on her face, but it soon turned to happiness. "Sammy!" She smiled. "What are you doing here, it's been so long!"

@Tiger Lily As they got to the blacksmiths, Sam could see Kathia working the forge. The loud hammering of steel erupted through the area. He looked to Rose, giving a serious look. "Just stay behind me, and let me do the talking, okay? She has an...interesting history with Keidran."

@Tiger Lily Sam grimaced a little at her question, not knowing how to answer. Katia was a family friend, but what he knew about her was...limited. "Well...I don't know." He answered truthfully. "From everything I've heard, she isn't exactly the nicest person 'round, but if anything happens, I'll make sure nothing happens to you. I give you my word." He then gave a large smile," I heard she makes a mean batch of cookies, though!"

@Tiger Lily "Of course." He agreed. He stood up and took a place behind Rose, following her to their destination. 'So, how are things?' Hal asked with a bittersweet tone. 'You wouldn't care if I told you.' Sam stated. 'Correct, but can't the voice in your head get curious once in a while?' Hal rebutted. 'No. Go away.' Sam sighed.

Rhett pointed a thumb at Melody, "What she said." Then he looked up to the sky, seeing it was clearing up a bit. Despite the break in the rain, it would surely start up again here soon. He pondered for a moment to decide if he should invite Gleaming in, seeing as he was in the same boat as Melody and all. Out of his good nature, he decided yes. "Well, the rain will start again here soon, and it isn't gonna be nice to stay out in. Why don't you come on in? I was just making some food if you wanted any." He smiled, standing off to the side for Gleaming to come in if he so chose to.

@Tiger Lily Sam took another sip of his drink,"Sounds good to me. Since you know the way 'round town, I'll let you lead, yeah?" He took a swig of the last of the ale, then set it on the table and stood up. "You ready?" He asked.

@Tiger Lily Sam didn't hear her at first, but he soon pulled himself out of his spell and gave her a smile. "Thank you, love." He grabbed the cup of ale and took a small swig, then picked up his apple and took a few bites of it. After finishing it, he sat the core down on the table and held the ale in his free hand. "Alright, so Blacksmith, supplies and goodbyes. Anything else that we need to do before then?" He asked Rose as he looked at his notepad, planning on writing down a list.

@Tiger Lily Sam gave his own nod,"You have my word." He turned back to his table, taking out his notepad and looking through the pages. Natani seemed like a good fellow, simply just trying to protect his friend. He could respect that, as his father once showed him the same thing. He just hoped she wasn't as fragile as everyone let on, since surely she was capable of things better than that. His thoughts continued as he flipped through the pages of his book, soon drowning out everything around him.

Rhett made a confused look, but quickly hid it behind a straight face. He didn't think Melody was even a real thing at first, but now there was another pony just like her at his doorstep. This pony seemed a lot more...intuitive, in a sense. Just by looking at the pony and judging by its voice, he figured it was a male. He had a bigger and more muscular build than Melody, and by the way he put together his words, he appeared as just another lost soul. With a slight glance outside behind Gleaming Grin, as he introduced, Rhett sigh. "Well, I'm not even sure if I'm on my own planet anymore, but I guess we all gotta start somewhere. You're on a planet called Earth." As much as he wanted to kick both of the ponies off his property, he didn't have it in him to do it. So, he'd make due for now, and hope he didn't go insane in the process.

@Tiger Lily Sam smiled,"I see. Well, as I said, I'm going to try my best to make sure she's happy." With a soft chuckle, he leaned forward, "Between you and me, this is my first actual relationship that's lasted this long. I just hope I can...deliver, if that makes sense." He stretched his arms a few times, as well as popping his neck.

@Tiger Lily Sam looked over to the the wolf, who he recognized as the wolf Rose introduced him too, Natani. He gave a nod, "I plan on it. Although, I wouldn't say I 'hooked her'. That just makes it sound demeaning, you know." He turned a bit to face him more, "You seem very protective of her, which isn't a bad thing mind you, but I'm just curious as to why. She mentioned some close friends, and I assume you're one of them? Correct me if I'm wrong, please."

Rhett heard the knock on the door, causing him to let out a small sigh. Just his luck to have even more company on the day he wanted to spend alone, but sometimes even the simplest things can be messed up. He sat down the food and went over to the door. "This day can't get any weirder." He groaned. He grabbed the door handle and swung the door open, seeing something that made him regret his choice of words not seconds earlier. He breathed in heavily, closing his eyes. 'Thanks God, love you bro' He sarcastically thought to himself.

@Totally Cerberus Yeah, just give me a bit to get brought up to speed, and I'll get right to it. Also, have I asked you about doing an HIE role-play before? I can't remember if I did or not, so I'm just curious.

@Totally Cerberus Yeah, sorry. It's been a busy couple of months, what can I say. As for the RP, yeah, I'd like to get back into it if possible. Although, I can't say for however much longer though, as my interest for MLP stuff has been...losing steam, if you will. I like the fandom and show and stuff, I really do, but I don't know why I'm starting to get bored of it. I guess from me getting more into the Furry fandom has a part in that, but I dunno. As I said, though, I'd like to start on this again if you are

@Tiger Lily Sam chuckled and took a seat, resting an arm on the table. " Well I request your best dish and most alcoholic beverage! I am a man of culture, therefore I require only the best." He gave a heartfelt laugh, "Ah, but jokes aside, I think just some ale maybe an apple will do for this morning." With a smile, he leaned back on the chair and looked up at the ceiling, counting the lines and such in the wood.

@Tiger Lily "Sounds like a plan, love. I'm starving." He stretched his joints, then picked up his sword and backpack. With a swift motion, he stuffed his coat into the pack, deciding that it would get too hot with it on. He glanced down to his sword, thinking he should buy a different one. As much as he loved this one, and he would keep it of course, a bigger blade would do him better off. Maybe a Hand and a Half Sword, or just a regular long-sword would do. He decided to talk to Rose about it later to get her take on it.

Wow, I am so sorry! I completely forgot about it, my mistake. I've been super busy this week and I've really only recently been able to get on here. I'll try and start going again in a little.

Hey, sorry I've been away for a bit. Life calls, you know. :P Anyways, they should be weary of the Humans, at the very least. They've dealt with Timberwolves and Zecora and stuff, so our two fine hero's shouldn't cause too much panic. Maybe a scream or two, but nothing major. And yes, Rob Lee did have quite the nap. Also, we're in Equestria already, just so you know. One more thing, what creature is Mike investigating. I realy hope it's not a dead pony. That wouldn't look good on a rap sheet. :P
