Hazard Time

At 9:00 PM PST, Sienna left this world on her own terms.  It's strange how she was doing so well last night.  She was running around, smiling, wagging her tail, and was happy to be alive.  She had been suffering from seizures and we had noticed other warning signs, but we never got the hint.  Today, she lost the will to live.  She could barely walk, her heart was fluttering, and no matter how much water she drank, she couldn't pee.  She wouldn't have survived the night.  

She's with God and His angels now, chasing squirrels through the snow, her two favorite things.  Thank you so much for spending 11 years with me.  You weren't a good girl, you were the best.

What's my guilty pleasure?  Debating with Flat Earthers on Youtube.

Don't ask how I'm able to derive pleasure from figuratively slamming my head against a brick wall.  I guess it's just one of those little things in life.  You know what I'm talking about; the overwhelming relief that, no matter how bad you feel for time and again failing to understand something, you will never be as big of a dumbass as the people who earnestly believe that science is a Satanic cult, that bronze-age civilizations knew more about astrophysics than we do now, and that the Earth is a giant snowglobe with an ice wall keeping all the water in.

Both of my midterms down, but still can't rest yet. Three more weeks to go in this term, and I'll have a much easier time in the Spring.

Watching Star Trek: TNG on Hulu. Why the hell has no one ever had the brilliant idea to nix the holodeck? Seriously, how many times will it be abused and endanger the lives of everyone on the Enterprise before someone considers that this was a terrible idea?

What's a good way to handle becoming burnt out on roleplaying? I have a lot of people waiting on me, but I just can't get my muse to really go...
