I'm just someone who likes discussing MLP. 

Also, my picture is from pony editor on Deviantart. A long time ago someone made me an oc, and it was my first one ever so I have an emotional connection to it. But I didn't just want to use that one straight up since, even if they did use pony editor, they still kind of came up with the design. So I revamped and updated it. Okay so I decided to beef up my about me page a bit more so here it goes.

I am an aspiring writer who really wants to publish something one day. I write fantasy though have tried to write for different genres (all of them were just little projects that went nowhere but were just fun to toy with). I think the thing I like most about writing is being able to create characters and follow them on their journey. I love developing characters so they have their own little quirks and so on, then playing them off each other. I also enjoy writing reviews or just my opinion on things (which I try to do on these forums but sometimes get caught up in other things). On a similar note, I also love reading though I haven't done so in a while. My favorite genre is fantasy. Currently, I am slowing reading my way through the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas which, so far, is one of my favorite book series. My second favorite book series is The Iron Butterfly series by Chanda Hahn. I don't think I am really up for book recommendations at the moment. Feel free to give them, just be aware it may be a very long time before I get to them 

I also love playing video games and my taste varies, but, for me, to really like a game it usually has to be linear with a good story and intriguing characters. I like some puzzle games, horror, and some casual games here and there. Some examples of puzzle games I like are Portal 2 and I guess The Last Guardian has some semi puzzle solving components. Examples of horror games I enjoy are Tattletail and Outlast. Lastly, examples of casual games I like would be Slime Rancher and Animal Crossing. Some of my favorite games are Outlast, The Last Guardian, Katamari Damacy (from all the games I've played from the series which admittedly was only two, We Love Katamari is my favorite so far), and others. As for types of games I don't like, well, I think the only types of games I can really single out are rpgs, mmorpgs, and so on. I've tried to get into them and something just doesn't really click for me. I'm not really into open world games (most of them tend to be open world) and I am more into linear experiences. I am always open to suggestions but I can be kind of picky and, if something really doesn't look up my alley, I'm not picking it up. Please be considerate of this. After all, games take time and money and I am not devoting either into something I feel will just end up collecting dust on my shelf.

I listen to music occasionally, though I usually prefer watching things over listening. But, sometimes and usually when I need something less distracting than videos, etc. I listen to music. I usually prefer pop but I listen to a variety of genres. I kind of jump around when it comes to music so it is hard to really pinpoint my taste. I can rule out some genres though like metal (most of the time) and country. I like some rock but it's usually not my taste. Currently, I am addicted to the Hoosiers. I enjoy their songs Worried About Ray, A Sadness Runs Through Him, Goodbye Mr A, The Trick to Life, Live By The Ocean, Made To Measure, Worse Case Scenario, Cling On for Life, Money to Be Made, and Killer.

As for shows I like, well, there is obviously mlp, but as for other shows I adore Gravity Falls and... the rest kind of falls into anime which, when it comes to shows, is mostly what I watch. I'm not sure I can really pin down a favorite genre, but I do mostly enjoy shows with dark elements. I mean this is coming from a girl who adores villains so... what did you expect? Did I mention that I adore villains?  Some of my favorite anime are Durarara, Angels of Death, Steins;Gate, Baccano, Black Butler: Book of Circus, etc. I also like some tearjerkers like Clannad and A Silent Voice. I do like things on the lighter side though. Some examples would be Ouran Highschool Hostclub, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, and Totoro (my childhood). As for everything I am open to suggestions. I am a bit more likely to give an anime a chance if I can find it on somewhere like Crunchyroll, Hulu, or Netflix (so I am not really going to jump hoops to watch anything). However, I am going to be honest, I am a bit impatient. If something doesn't entertain me I just lose interest. Granted I can live with slow beginnings, but if let's say by the 4th or 5th episode (if I can tolerate that much) it just doesn't really grab my attention or interest I probably will not ride it out any longer. Yeah I know I am pretty impatient, but I view it as (and this is the same for video games and most media for me), why waste my time on something that just isn't interesting me if I could use it on something else that I will really enjoy? I say these things because I know people can get... kind of annoyed when others don't take their suggestions or don't ride it out for as long as they were hoping for. Just remember that it isn't personal, we just have different tastes and I will respect yours in hopes you will respect mine.
