@SolarFlare13 I mean yeah the show has been declining in quality these last seasons, but I don't think it has much effect on the negativity here, seeing as it often has nothing to do with the show

Well, I feel as if Hasbro has made A LOT of big decisions that didn't sit too well with the fan-base (twi becoming an Alicorn, the golden oak library being destroyed, Starlight for some, the school of friendship, etc...) and I feel that has contributed to the negativity of the fandom.

...and they solely focused more on the brony fandom and what they want rather than their target audience. I think that's why the quality of the show has gone down a bit: They are working over-time to satisfy the fandom itself. Seriously, some of the episodes in season 9 have the exact same plot as some of the earlier seasons. (it could be just they're running out of idea's...)

I guess another reason could be that they hired new writers for the later seasons and they haven't had as much of a connection as some of the older ones. 

...but then again, it could be just the generation we're in. A LOT of people are depressed and are just generally negative about things...
