I was listening to JYC's remix of Luna's Future, and it suddenly struck me how much this song applies to us, as in us humans.

 

We are constantly fighting with each other - whether over politics or over religion - rather than cooperating, and trying to let each other down rather than helping each other. We care about nothing but ourselves, like not caring about the environment - "I see a future caused by you I see a path not meant to be".

Our world can be a great place and everyone benefits in the end if we choose to cooperate, but it just seems like we don't have that level of trust and motivation, the only thing that motivates us is money. 

"The future should be filled with magic, dreams and wishes, brought to life"

 

With the current pace, we are seeing conflicts all over the world, especially in the Middle East and Europe. Pollution and apathy are killing entire ecosystems and causing massive extinctions. Most of all, everyone has to live their lives knowing that they can't trust anyone outside their immediate family; acts of kindness almost became a rarity rather than commonplace.

"But the days ahead are dark and tragic... Now the future is a cold nightmare"
