It's no that. I'm just defending my faith and Bible from ignorant people who only want to annoy others. Sorry, I'm not taking my time to answer. next time. They are spiritually blinded. Jesus never commanded us to kill others. Those people are wrong.

That was in the dark ages when Christianity was mingled with other views. Catholics persecuted Christians because they didn't follow all of their views.

You are focusing on the OLD TESTAMENT. The NEW TESTAMENT is when Jesus came to earth to change everything: love your neighbors, do good to those who do bad to you, etc. Ya ya ya yada yada yada. You people denounce Christians because of a story in the Bible. we may never know why God allowed that to happen. Muslims, budhists, monks, etc, all kill people if they don't accept their own views. There is NO love in their religions.

God only allowed that to happen so Job can rely fully on God. God also wanted to show that he was only rich through Him. He showed Job just how bad he would be without God.

Job you say? Satan came to God to ask if he could inflict pain and hardships on Job so that he might curse God. God only allowed him to cast the inflictions to show Satan that Job still wouldn't curse God, show Job how insignificant he is and how he only had his riches through God, and to test Job's faith in God. God later gave Job twice all the riches he had. See? You read only the bad parts and judge the whole Bible.

The Holy Scriptures were breathed out by God and written by men. Do your own research and see that it's true. Only when your a true, born-again christian, then you have calm, inner peace and know that you are saved and will one day see Jesus in Heaven. Why do you think Christianity is the biggest religion in the world? Because it's true!!!

You have to read it, open your mind, and read the New Testament where Jesus talks about our life, purpose, love, etc. well said!!!
