Rose's cyan eyes flashed anger as she nodded. "You're right..." Rose walked up to the recruit before giving him a frightening glare. "POTATO CHORE!!! NOW!!!" Then she looked at the others. "See this as a warning guys. You don't want to know what happened to the last one who disrespected me."

Rose was a bit sad she wouldn't be the one deployed there, but having to stay here was understandable. "Fine, you're in charge."

"I'll go lead them then, since Princess Celestia assigned me to this mission."

"Agreed, better not mess with them." "And yes, spears and armor are quite limiting our fighting potential because we can't fight our enemy from a long distance. Sniper rifles allow this."

"On my side, I've been 3-star General in the Trains Empire before being Captain of the Royal Guards here. In addition to being famous for its trains, it's also famous for its military. Actually we own firearms and army vehicles such as tanks! I believe these would be pretty efficient on a dragon" "And well, we definitely need weapons. Otherwise we'll be useless help because we wouldn't stand a chance. I'll speak to Princess Celestia about this. Though I never knew a Wyvern was a dragon."

"Oh? There are dragons out there? It wasn't mentioned in the letter was it? Anyway I'm glad you'll be with me, cause I was concerned about not seeing you for a long time." "And yes, I'll find a sergeant who shares the same opinion with me regarding respect."

Rose took the report paper and read it. She actually never heard of that Kingdom before. She gave it a thought while looking at the medals attached to her military uniform blazer. "It's my call? I guess the best I can do is send two regiments of soldiers there. Though I'm kinda wanting to go with them, to give them courage in this mission. The thing is that I'd need somepony to replace me while I'm away. Is Auran Lightwing still here? He's got a great potential to become Captain. Though if he isn't here, do you think you could be in charge? Or you rather have it be somepony else's responsibility?"

Rose looked at the recruit and went flaming furious. She walked up to him while threateningly staring at him. "SAY THAT AGAIN IF YOU DARE!!!"

It was Rose's turn to tell Arrow something. "Hun, I'll tell you this. The only thing I don't like in Ruby is her lack of respect. If we keep avoiding each other everything will be fine." "As for the Princesses, I would most certainly tell them I can't bear her and try my best to avoid her. Isn't that what I'm doing actually?" "To make it simple, the only way to make it end bad is if Ruby starts making fun of me, insulting me or if she goes further than that." However, Rose looked a bit confused when Arrow asked her not to hate Somnus for the crush he has on Ruby. "What? I have nothing against Somnus. He may love Ruby, I can't object to this. Love is love after all. Yes I maintain it, he's one of my best soldiers. It's just that it'd be wiser for him not to step in my way if a confrontation between Ruby and me has to occur."

Rose tried her best to keep calm, and goodness this wasn't an easy task at all. "This may be messed up to your eyes, though in my carrier nopony ever disrespected me. So I'm not going to let that one pass." "If Celestia kicked me out and made it impossible for us to see each other again, I would look for the reason why she did this. If there is none, it would be a great injustice for sure. If there is I probably would apologize a million times and beg her to make me see you again. Somnus's reason to be kicked out would be disrespectful attitude towards a higher-up because this is definitely something which is not okay at all and should be dealt with a lot of toughness."

"I know that he's experienced. This doesn't scare me though. Actually I know what I'd do if he dares make me mad. Since he, unlike Ruby, isn't protected by Celestia and most of all is off-duty, I can have him be banned from this place and never get to see Ruby for a long period of time. And I'll make sure Ruby doesn't leave this Castle as well."

"My composure and nerves have limits, too. If he dares enrage me, I'll beat him up even if he's disabled. This is a promise. I work both ways, Arrow. I can be the most respectful pony in Equestria as well as the worst." Rose said, as she was starting to get a bit angry during that discussion.

"Well I have my reasons to hate her. And caring about only one pony isn't a sufficient reason to make me change my mind about wishing she was never here."

"That's true. Any disrespect will be severely punished." Hearing the report, the mare rolled her eyes. "Meh, she never cares about anything in this country. Seriously she should stay in the treasury. Nopony will miss her anyway, and I'm sure she would feel the same towards us. Okay, perhaps Somnus will. But he'll be the only one."

Meanwhile, Rose had recovered from her lack of sleep which made her faint. She could be found in the training fields, supervising new recruits' stance. "Attention !" She ordered, and with that order the newbies tried their best to first stand at attention. One of them actually fell down and made some of the others laugh. This irritated the Captain. "It really is impolite to laugh at others! I won't tolerate such a disrespectful attitude. I hope I made myself clear." In response, the recruits slightly nodded in acknowledgement.

I actually like Spitfire in black and white. I don't know, it adds swag in it. Though I don't know who are surrounding her. Anyway, I'll give it a 9/10

"You're in for the worst moment of your life!"

"Anyone has some more cigarettes?"

Soon after, the military mare got off the bed, trying to stand again, and this time with success. Rose looked at Auran with attention while he was filling up the patrol schedules. He really was impressing her, as it seems he's as experienced as her in schedule planning. It wasn't the first time she thought about upranking him to Co-Captain of the Royal Guards, she trusted him well enough now. "Auran? I was wondering about something." She introduced with her eyes looking away from him, not letting him know right away what she had in mind for him, taking a little bit more time to think it through. He'd have a high responsability after all, just like her. Would he be psychologically ready for that? Or would he ever want to be promoted to such ranking? Auran Longwing would be the only one having the answers to these questions. "You don't have any weakness you say?" Rose asked, raising a smug eyebrow and looking at him right in the eyes in a challenging manner. "Watch your mouth, pal. You don't want to make me want to find one for you, do you?"

In reaction to Longwing's playful voice tone, the mare hid a chuckle behind her hoof. "Such a cute way to speak, Longwing. Anyway I'm glad the schedule I've planned for you suits you fine. It's settled then." She let out a small smile as she grabbed her pen to check in Longwing's schedule. Speaking of schedules, the mare happened to be in need for help, so once Longwing proposed his own, the mare did nothing but warmly smile at him in a thank you aim. "Yes, helping me out on schedules would be very nice of you, thank you very much my friend." However a severe headache hit the mare once again, making her grunt in pain and place a hoof on her forehead. "Goodness, I hate not to be up for fulfilling my duties..." As her headache eased up on her a bit, the mare raised an unamused eyebrow at Arrow. "Or perhaps it'll stop breaking if I make you pay for its repair fees."

In reaction to this, Rose smiled to Stumpy and started to gently pat his head, then continue by stroking his body. "Well aren't you cute~"

Blu seemed not to know any place he could visit, not knowing this city at all. "My apologies, I do not recall places I could visit in particular." With that intervention of the other guard, an outburst of anger from the Captain was avoided as she let out a "Fine, I'll leave it to you." before laying back down on her bed as she felt a little tired.

Somnus's fault, he was the one who started it, sparring. These elements ended up forming an assumption within Rose's mind. "And may I know who he was sparring with?"
