    Rose made her way to the bottom of Celestia's throne and made a firm salute. "Your Highness, there is something serious I am obliged to talk to you about. I humbly request your permission to proceed."

    "Thank you, Gentlecolts." Rose turned around and took her leave, making her way to the Throne Room to see if Her Highness was there.

    Rose gave it a thought and did agree with them. "Yeah, putting Ruby on other duties are a better option. Hopefully her greed shrinks down if she's on night shift. One more mistake and she's put to Potato Chore." "Yeah you're right. Since Somnus and Ruby really enjoy each other's company, it only makes sense if they're on the same chore together. I'm talking to Celestia about this. Where is she?"

    "Well no. Ruby is dangerous for other Guards' safety and I'm set on making it clear. Not to mention Somnus's broken leg isn't the only incident in which Ruby was involved." "And it doesn't matter if Ruby means a lot to Somnus. My Guards and Canterlot Citizen's safety do matter more to me."

    Rose thought for a moment. Who could be deadlier than Somnus? It didn't take more than two seconds to figure out who it was. "Ruby..." an irritated Rose mentioned. The mare really had enough of that dragon. Her name was present too often on reports. "I've had enough! When Celestia's free I'm having a talk with her about her Treasury Guard. You two will come with me. Also I'm disappointed in Somnus. I never thought he'd lie to me like that."

    Well, I'm really simple when it comes to needles: NOT EVEN IN YOUR DREAMS. Supplicating me, threatening me or anything else will not make me have a needle plant itself in me. End of story.

    "Well, I don't. And I didn't expect the individual who dislikes next to everypony to actually like cats." Rose didn't reply, she was finding this pony strange and stupid enough not to respond. Standing at attention and doing a firm salute to Arrow's grandfather, Rose recognized herself when he mentioned not a single pony would dare step out of line. "Somnus you mean? Yes, he still is. Though right now he's off duty due to a broken leg."

    Rose really was surprised. Of all individuals she expected to like cats, Ruby was the very last one. "You've got to be kidding me."

    Rose understood what Arrow meant now. She actually got where Arrow was taking his taste for risk from. As for the cat, she tilted her head a bit. "Yeah? Who's its owner now?"

    Rose was a bit confused about what Arrow said, and let it be clear on her face. "Adventures?"

    Rose thought about it for a moment then smiled and nodded. "Sure! Works for me. Let's go there."

    Rose checked her watch and looked back at Arrow. "It's lunchtime for us actually. Where do you want to go eat? Technically we're off-duty during lunch." "For the vending machine I'll let it pass this time."

    Rose really was worrying herself about Arrow, seriously. After all, all teleportations were a huge fail for him. "Sweetheart, I think you should practice this spell again."

    Rose looked confused. There is something she couldn't understand. "First of all, I don't even know why we should go at war with others. We actually don't need to. Second, this kind of decision can't come from military, but Royalty. Princess Celestia is the best fitting for diplomacy stuff."

    "Yes? What is it? What do you want to talk about diplomacy for?"

    "I guess I can understand that point of view. Honestly I would probably give up my functions and pass them to somepony else sooner or later if I was immortal, because obviously military would've evoluted and I wouldn't be up-to-date with new technologies, so to speak" "And I'll make his punishment harsher if he does that again."

    "Disobeying a high ranking officer is a no-go with me too, but on this point I'll allow it. Seriously this guy didn't earn his rank at all!" "Yeah, though tell Somnus that the next time he puts soap in the fountain, I'll make him clean ALL fountains in Equestria."

    "Well I actually did kick him out as soon as I found this out. Coward attitude is a no-go with me, remember?"

    Rose nodded as she agreed with Arrow. This was unfair, and the mare dreamt about proving the Royal Guards are capable of protecting Canterlot and not simple background.

    "Well I've actually finished the recruit training for today, so I guess my shift ends here. I'll just stay in my office in case something unexpected happens"

    "Yea, that's what they're made of. So, I guess there's not much to do today, unless I'm told otherwise."

    "This chore consists in peeling potatoes, lots of potatoes."
