So I watched a video of every MLP episode at the same time and I wanted to share some useless observations:

-In general, the later seasons have longer cold opens than the early ones

-The longest cold open of season 1 is Look Before You Sleep. This is a big outlier because this is also the second longest cold open of the whole show clocking in at about 2 minutes and 52 seconds. Outside of that outlier, Call of the Cutie has the longest cold open at just over 2 minutes

-The longest cold open of season 2 is either The Cutie Pox or A Canterlot Wedding Part 1. They both end at pretty much the same time and I'm not entirely sure which is longer. They clock in at just under 2 minutes

-The longest cold open of season 3 is Too Many Pinkie Pies which is also just under 2 minutes

-The longest cold open of season 4 is Twilight Time clocking in at about 2 minutes and 14 seconds

-The longest cold open of season 5 is Party Pooped sitting at around 2 minutes and 9 seconds

-The longest cold open of season 6 is Dungeons and Discords with 2 minutes and 12 seconds

-The longest cold open of season 7 is It Isn't the Mane Thing About You which is also the longest cold open of the entire show. It's the only cold open to pass 3 minutes at 3 minutes and 9 seconds

-The longest cold open of season 8 is Non-Compete Clause at about 2 minutes and 37 seconds, but School Raze Part 1 is very close behind

-The longest cold open of season 9 is Going to Seed at 2 minutes and 40 seconds. This is also the third longest cold open of the show

-The shortest cold open of the show is The Crystal Empire Part 1 at 31 seconds. Family Appreciation Day is close behind at 33 seconds. The part 2's of most of the 2 parters also end around this point, but I don't count those since they're just recaps.
