Weight lifting question. Is 50 reps with a 25 pound dumbbell per arm enough for a big 15 year old? Or should I increase?

Well from my experience, and being that I am not "built" but I am 6 feet, weigh 185pounds
I usually (if I ever DO workout) do 30-35 lbs for 40 -50 reps
