I feel the need to land a few reassuring words here, Silky. You are right about the current state of artificial intelligence. It actually is only an algorithm that analyzes the words we use to generate a response by calculation the probability of each word matching the situation. It is also true that if no unexpected event take place, it is likely that AIs will keep being more and more powerful, while remaining a mirror of humanity. However, what people often forget is that only few can easily anticipate the futur technologies. There is a certain chance that the current model of AI programming will eventually become obsolete and be replaced by a different one. One that is actually conscious or less of a reflection of us and more of an authentic entity. It will take decades for this to happen and perhaps even centuries. Humanity is only making it's first steps in the world of artificial intelligence so it would be bold to think that the robots of the futur will only be more intelligent versions of ChatGPT. It is similar to a medieval serf trying to picture the futur by saying that wagons will be built of a lighter material than wood to cause less exhaustion to horses. It was a very smart thought from the serf but what he didn't see coming was the invention of engines, causing horses and wagons to be a thing from the past. Humans are machines made of blood and flesh and their memories are electrical shocks in their brains, involving that consciousness is a realistic goal for AIs. In a far futur a robot might even develop a soul. But, for now, we must indeed be cautious with the current model of AIs, since they can deceive even the most intelligent person by reflecting their own mind. Thank you for this mindful warning about the dangers of AIs, Sis.

My knowledge has expended in all the directions because of my limitless curiosity, creating a bottomless rabbithole of nonesense. Today, we are jumping into that rabbithole together to explore a small fraction of it! "Wait a minute! Fake video games? This makes no sense!" You might say! You're right, this makes no sense, this is why it's in the rabbithole! This is the sort of video that kept me awake late, although I needed to get up early the next day. And now I'm putting this curse on you! Will you resist the urge to watch the entire almost 2h long video in one shot, before going to bed, or will your resistance collapse from the intense curiosity consuming you, preventing you from having a good night of sleep? *Shiny turned her attention toward the Changeling who asked her the question and she began to explain to them, with more details, her solution to the problem.* "This is the point, my dear friend. Let me compare this situation to one where all of you would have to agree on which pizza you would all eat for diner. You can only choose one sort of pizza for all the Hive. It would be an enormous pizza and you Changelings don't really need to eat food but let's get over those two facts to focus on the main problem." "The main problem is that 50% of the Changelings want a cheese pizza and the other 50% want a vegetarian pizza. What you're currently trying to do is choosing one of those two pizzas, even if it means that only half of the Hive will be satisfied with it, since you don't know what else to do." "But fear not, I have a solution that will satisfy a good 90% of the Changelings. Have you considered having a pizza that is half cheese and half vegetarian? This is actually what we call a compromise and it's the best way to find a solution that will make everypony happy. You see, you don't need the entirety of the Hive to be to a fraction of the Changelings' liking. You can do the opposite, make a fraction of the Hive to some's likings and do another fraction of the Hive to some others' liking.
