I´m thinking a bit about how will the changeling conlang i´ll develop later deal with the gender system of the pony language. I think it doesnt make sense for changelings to have a common/pegasian/monocerous system even tho their language would be influenced by the pony one. Maybe they wont have grammatical gender. and this leads me to the verbs. The pony language´s verbs are inflected based on grammatical gender but if changelings wont have that how will they inflect the borrowed verbs from ponies? Maybe verbs like flying will inflect the pegasian way because when changelings will borrow the word thats the way it most typicaly inflects because pegasi fly i think this would make the changeling language a bit complicated because verbs can inflect differently and you just have to learn which verbs inflect how [Hopefully this makes sense ]
