    While she avoided the gazes of the other two ponies, lilely looking a little cold, Sapphire's gaze didn't seem to bother her. That said, she produced a warm smile upon hearing the response, confirming she was right. That was a little less awkward... "Alright, In that case... The way to the throne room isn't much of a secret, even though the main gates are locked. I think you can catch a few seconds with the princess at least. Just follow me." Thus she walked past the little group, making sure they followed before continuing into the crowd. Eventually, they left the packed lobby behind, seemingly getting lost in the hallways... Until they found themselves in front of an inconspicuous door in a completely deserted area, almost merged with the wall. It'd be hard to find if you had no idea where to look... "Alright, this leads directly to the throne rooms. Do you have your speech ready?"

    "Oh, no, I'm not really part of the staff... Just employed for today. I have to take care of anypony who somehow falls asleep, heh..." Stardust's question caught her a little off guard, as she was inspecting the two ponies who seemed to have just finished a marathon, while Sapphire seemed just fine. Her gaze quickly went back to the strange mare's, choosing not to comment on her appearance. In comparison, Stardust and Tinker barely earned an acknowledging glance. "It was just a little obvious you three were in a rush. Celestia's a little busy, so she couldn't make the gala; But if it's important, I could get you a short meeting today. Maybe."

    T he little group's rushing around would easily go unnoticed for most party-goers, But they easily caught the attention of a certain blue pegasus. Excusing herself from her friends, she flew up to observe, slowly noticing the pattern. They were cycling through the places Celestia was usually found... Eventually, she flew down near them once they calmed down. Emerging from the crowd next to Sapphire, she spoke up. "Hello, are you three enjoying the party? You don't seem to be from around here, but it looks like you're looking for Princess Celestia, am I wrong? In that case, if it's really important, I could get you to meet her." In the very second following this, she looked between the three of them, wondering what kind of response she would get. Even if they looked to be in a rush, she'd look so dumb if she wasn't right! She quickly followed up her sentence before they could speak. "I-I'm Azure Dawn by the way. It's nice to see new faces..."

    Have read the latest post: now where could celestia be? Perhaps azure had a meeting planned with her already?

    @Lawyer Slip I'm not sure what you mean here, how come you are only able to roll one d12? If you missed some days you can roll multiple dice, right?

    //two dice rolls since I missed yesterday, also haha 69 total steps The effects of sprinting naturally caught up to Azure as well, who slowed down to a halt to take a break... Just in time to watch the sinkhole form on the path ahead. She carefully tried to step around it, and... Made it past without a hitch. Still, she watched out for anypony else struggling with the obstacle, it would be easy to slip and slide right into that hole, or crash into a tree considering the speed some of the racers were going.

    Another 19, I dunno about this one. Also i think dynamo said 500 steps to win? Even if you always rolled 20 it would take 25 days to complete...

    //We're close by like, one step! So I'll assume I'm caught up with you and probably Shiny. With her steadily increasing pace, Azure had made up for her slow start, suddenly passing Silky! Only to struggle to go any faster, resulting in her remaining right next to the princess. She gave some space as her wings almost spread out, wondering if she would actually take flight. It sure would be easier, who'd have thunk running could be this draining... //total: 57 steps!

    someone has 72 steps out of 80 possible steps.,. talk about luck.

    Azure takes a minute to begin the race, Starting off with a moderate trot to save stamina, running close to the border of the road to both avoid other racers and watch the leaves fall. After getting more used to the pace, and noticing she was falling behind, She decided to focus on catching up. While burning up all your stamina wasn't fun, running so far behind everypony else would be a little boring. //42 steps, just above average! I think?...

    How sweet, by the time she reached the starting line, it was already crowded... Shouldn't have wandered off after all, sightseeing was for after the race. Azure found herself a spot, ready to finally race.

    Aww, really cute! However, the cutie mark looks like an upside down muffin, with the cloud being so dark... I will have go design something prettier eventually.
