Printing 226 flash cards for a final on Thursday. "Get a master's degree," they said. "It'll be fun," they said. Oh well. I guess now I have to put "toner cartridge" on my Christmas wishlist. Anyone up for getting me a Canon 137 cartridge?
It's entirely possible that getting a new printer will cost less. A $90 laser printer I bought a few years ago uses four cartridges that cost $120 each to replace - and yes, comes with four of them.
BLoody hell! Was it a color printer? Mine is only b/w. As far as I know, my model comes with a starter cart, which is only good for a few hundred sheets (although I'm up to 733 on the starter) whereas a full-size cart is good for a couple thousand.
Yep - it's a Samsung CLP-360. It's evil, like all printers, but I got at least 600 pages out of its starter cartridges (many of them in colour!) before letting someone else borrow it indefinitely. I wouldn't be surprised if the original cartridges are still going.
