You get to write the final MLP episode!
Espionage replied to Silverwisp the Bard's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Troll Last Episode: The Mane Six are going about their day until a GIANT FIST APPEARS. The Giant Fist murders several helpless Homo Sapiens until the Mane Six get the Elements of Harmony from Bob's Grandma's house. But then, as a twist, the Giant Fist turns into THIS GUY: Then they have an epic dance off before the world is saved because of butt. The End. Real Last Episode -
Over analysis Time! What if the Pinkie Pie that was left was not the original Pinkie Pie but rather the FIRST COPY? The First Copy is far more developed than the other copies and it could have been that when it was between the two Pinkie Pies, Rainbow Dash accidentally broke the original Pinkie Pie's concentration. The Dear Princess Celestia part could have also been done by the First Copy easily given that one conversation with a random pony can inform the First Copy of Princess Celestia and they would be none the wiser since it's Pinkie Pie. Or what about murdering the Pinkie Pies? Twilight Sparkle basically strips the fake Pinkie Pie into their "soul" and banishes them back to the pond. So are they stuck there forever? Since Tom sealed the exit, those Pinkie Pies will either continue replicating or be stuck inside the Mirror Pond FOREVER.

1. Twilight Sparkle: I just relate to her the best. The constant studying and organization. Not to mention the stress from studying. She's just an interesting character because I know her character because I AM her character. Also, I'm not very street smart. I'm stuck in the '20s-'70s. Twilight Sparkle in Season 1 was stuck in the Canterlot/sheltered mindset. 2. Fluttershy: Just the nice girl character of the series. I generally like the Fluttershy character unless they're over the top. Fluttershy is the embodiment of those shy, reserved characters. I liked Hinata in Naruto so I naturally like Fluttershy. 3. Rainbow Dash: The reason she's in the midpoint is that she's a bit of a jerk and she's overrated. But nonetheless, Rainbow Dash is a great character and one that has the jock/aspiring personality. She's annoying but you can also sympathize with her. 4. Pinkie Pie: I do like Pinkie Pie, I really do. She's actually tied for the #3 position. But the reason she's lower on the list is because I prefer the studious character to the party one. Just a personal preference. But she's a great character nonetheless. 5. Applejack: Just a one things: No song (I know, not a fault of the character). But seriously, I can see why people would like AJ but I much prefer other ponies just because of the fact that Applejack is too rustic. Boring, no. Rustic and down to earth, yes. While some might see that as positive, AJ seems too down to earth for me. 6. Rarity: I don't think Rarity is a bad character. I don't think any of the Mane 6 are bad. But Rarity being last is simply because of that male-female thing. I don't like fashion. Never have, never will. Rarity does have her funny moments and she is a likeable character if you have a different mindset of me but to me, she relates nearly none at all to me or anyone I know and LIKE.

How can Earth Ponies stand not having wings/magic?
Espionage replied to JeanHover's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
The same way a warrior would be able to stand it when he's next to a stealthy rogue and powerful wizard. Earth Ponies fill in a very important social class: Agriculture. So what if a Unicorn can use spells? Given what we've seen so far, only special ponies like Twilight Sparkle can cast a variety of different spells. Earth Ponies are needed for agriculture and I've yet to see an agricultural Unicorn. So what if Pegasi can control the weather and fly? They'll be too busy eating their own wings to do any of that without Earth Ponies.- 71 replies

How Prepared Is Equestria for.....anything?
Espionage replied to Stalliongrad's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
So far, to my knowledge, there are only two military organizations in Equestria. The Royal Guard, who proved to be inefficient during the Canterlot Wedding, and the Wonderbolts, who can barely be qualified as a military organization. The former though, they do have spears and magic so I guess they could repel lesser invaders. But none of that matters because the rulers of Equestria control the sun and moon. If the invaders attack Equestria, Celestia and Luna can just rig the night and day cycles to benefit them and screw the enemy. You'd need a force like China to invade Equestria successfully. Even then, they have the Elements of Harmony, that can solve EVERYTHING. -
Which ponies wake up the earliest?

Well, according to the word of Cereal Velocity, 1000 bits is $1,499,499.99. Using simple math, it's easy to calculate that one bit is $1,499.50. Rounded up. Whether this is proof of hyperinflation considering that a single apple would cost about $3000 or proof that technicolor ponies can run the economy better than humans is your opinion.

I don't hate Celestia. I merely kind of dislike some of her actions. Nightmare Moon being banished? Yeah, I get that. There's no way around it. I remember hearing that even the Word of Faust saying that if it was Nighttime Eternal, then Equestria would freeze over for good. With nighttime eternal, Equestria would begin to look like Pluto. What I don't like: Celestia did nothing to help the Mane 6 with Discord. I understand if she couldn't take out Discord but at least hold down the fort properly and offer some kind of support during the maze part. Or Chrysalis for that matter!

How do you see Celestia's rule of Equestria?
Espionage replied to Jammo's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
"Capitalism is an economic system that is based on private ownership of the means of production and the creation of goods or services for profit. Competitive markets, wage labor, capital accumulation, voluntary exchange, and personal finance are also considered capitalistic." Private Ownership - Every shop in Ponyville Production - Sweet Apple Acres, Sugarcube Corner, Carousel Boutique, etc. Profit - Bits Competitive Markets - Flim Flam Brothers Wage Labor - Doesn't Pinkie Pie work for the Cakes and get paid? Capital Accumulation - Filthy Rich Voluntary Exchange - Fluttershy & the Cherry Salesman Personal Finance - ??? Have we ever seen a bank in the MLP Universe? Having a few government subsidized industries does not make a nation socialist or not capitalist. There are nations with universal healthcare and such that are very capitalist. In the real world, capitalist nations like South Korea or Japan have government healthcare and they are government regulated. Certain base needs are covered by most governments, just not the U.S. Equestria is no exception. If we're speaking of the base needs of food, clothing, and shelter, then two of the three are already covered. Applejack sells her apples and Rarity sells her dresses. If you're talking about laissez-faire capitalism, a very far right wing capitalism, then your point is valid. But I'm not saying Equestria follows that form of capitalism. -
How do you see Celestia's rule of Equestria?
Espionage replied to Jammo's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Well that is capitalism. It's a very social type of capitalism but just because Equestria has Universal Healthcare doesn't mean that they aren't capitalist. Many capitalist nations like Japan and Korea have universal healthcare. But you can see a very capitalist market as seen in the assertive Fluttershy episode's beginning. For example, the cherry salesman who charges ridiculous amounts for a single cherry because Fluttershy offered up a demand for the last remaining cherry. In your examples of Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight, it's simple. Fluttershy probably sells chicken eggs and I assume she may grow her own food. Rainbow Dash, in the first episode, was part of the weather team, right? That's probably where she gets her money. And Twilight Sparkle is a librarian AND Princess Celestia's apprentice. The latter probably covers for all of her living costs. -
How do you see Celestia's rule of Equestria?
Espionage replied to Jammo's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Alright, Celestia is a benevolent monarch with absolute power (I don't see a parliament...). Considering her rule is marked with little poverty (at least in the cities we've seen) and no ponies suffering because of Celestia, she basically destroys the two problems with an absolute monarchy: The child taking over and being a total dick (Nero) and restriction of civil rights (Hitler). However, I don't get why you put communist because it's pretty obvious that Equestria is a capitalist nation. For example, Applejack having a business mindset or Filthy Rich in general. -
