This is the first fanfic or story i've ever written and its only a piece right now, i have huge plans for this story and i'm not sure if i'm up to the task of character personalities and emotions. but here is the beginning anyways. (please leave feedback) (uploader wont work cause i use mac, so imma cntrl copy) ------- The small settlement of Trallist was not known for its splendor or decor. The random array of stone houses and workshops reminiscent of the gold mining camps of the 3rd Equestrian gold rush. A time when ponies shot up houses and refineries so fast, they only cared for putting them next to the resources that could be used for construction. Which is why the buildings of Trallist seemed to congregate around the quarry, with its ever-present hammering and shouting. This constant bombardment of noise, however, didn’t bother the pony folk as they went about their day, many of whom traveling to the wood mill which provided a command post for the onslaught against the tree line. The great oaks and cedars no match for the sharp steel of the pony lumberjacks. This massacre of trees was one of the reasons few visitors could stomach staying long in Trallist. Those who did however, normally passed their time hiking through the many trails which snaked to and fro up the mountain. Recently there had been sightings of strange creatures along the trail. But no sensible pony took these reports seriously because no fierce animals had been spotted on the mountain since the time of Count Trallis, nearly 400 years ago. Stories of the Count’s heroics against the original troll inhabitants still filled the heads of many a young colt and filly. The town had commemorated the Count by building a statue of him, the only decoration to be found in the town square. Despite its intricate white cobble stoning, few ponies travelled to the town square, spending their time instead at the small marketplace or the teleportation circle. The circle tended to be a flurry of activity since it was the shipping dock for the raw materials that Trallist produced. These resources, which kept Equestria growing and Trallist alive, were transported along a single dirt road travelling from the quarry, through the circle and down to the wood mill. This road continued both to the north and south of Trallist, allowing access for those who could not afford teleportation. Early one morning a cloud of dust could be seen on the road traveling slowly northward from a barn someways south of the town. This cloud belonged to a young colt, Candid Whisper, his bright red and orange mane, bouncing to and fro as the gray pony trotted excitedly. “Today is going to be so awesome! Not just another boring weekend watching the lumberponies” the small gray pony whispered to himself, a habit which seemed to get worse by the day. The colt realized his slip of tongue and continued the thought in his head. Once i meet Shadow Strung, we’ll head to the trail. Noone will see us and we can go exploring!!! Upon entering the town, Whisper, known to his friends as Whisp, noticed that the morning rush had not yet started and let out a small sigh of relief. He had been afraid that he had left late and the town would be a wave of ponies heading to their stations for the day. Being the first pony out in the town was a rare occurrence for the young colt and his head whipped excitedly back and forth as he noticed things that had somehow always eluded him. Silly things such as how the E on the Bakers sign was slightly askew compared to the rest of the letters. After a few minutes of staring at gray and brown buildings with the occasional flower garden Whisp realized how boring the town really was and went back to his planning for the day. “K” the gray pony commanded to himself. “First i have to meet Shadow, then we go to the old oat farm so that we can get some snacks, we shouldn’t be out for too long, but it always pays to be prepared”. Whisp felt a surge of pride as he spoke the words.

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Rainbow Dash How did you find MLP Forums?: Internetwebs How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I was really confused when i saw all the memes and stuff, so i went to check it out. The thought that everyone actually liked the my little pony show did not even occur to me at first (i thought they loved a fanmade video series like DBZ abridged) so i was really surprised when i found out it was the real deal. I watched one episode... and then another... and then... another, bam brony. I'm Conor, I'm 19, from Canada. i'm a lot better at questions than picking off stuff at the top of my head... i like playing bf3, umm, i like sports but i rarely play them cause laziness. many of my friends cosplay, so i end up going to some conventions, (im not a huge anime fan, but im open minded), plus any show with over 30 episodes scares me. (except mlp, 26 per season does not sate my pony requirements and i was heartbroken when i finished season 1). ya, thats more than i think you want to read.

RAINBOW DASH IS FAV PONY, applejack best though, not a hug fan of new games that come out, but i love battlefield 3, heavy metal doesnt really grasp me but i like most rock n roll and electronic music... you should punch your brother in the mouth

ya, i'm not used to this forum at all... the closest i've gotten to foruming is through a battlefield 3 clans forum... so im kinda new with it too... i noticed your pic is luna, personally im a solar empire kinda guy

i designed an OC once too and it looked kinda like yours, except mine was a Captain by the cutie mark... i was gonna write a fanfic about it, but then i realized im no good at writing and my story was too complicated (capturing discords manner into a strategic disposition is too difficult, maybe i can turn him into stone again...)

rainbow dash is also my favorite, but im starting to love fluttershy a lot more too , welcome back i guess, this is my first day here
