It is amazing how even 8 years later, the first episode of Attack On Titan can still make me emotional and send chills through my body. I was showing it to my boyfriend for the first time and no matter how often I see it, I adore it. It is one of the best openings to any piece of media ever, in my view.
Such a shame the show is ending soon and supposedly on such a sour note. I will forever cherish what it brought to me. Passion and emotion that I hardly get from the world today.

I still remember when Attack on Titan first came out as well. Loved it then, thought it went kind of downhill at a certain point, went through a phase where I disliked it, but got back into it again and started agreeing with people that it was getting better. If some people don't like the ending, cool, but it's closure I'm not going to miss out on.
