    All of the hatred that Twilicorn received makes me think, would people in the fandom be equally furious if Rainbow Dash became a Wonderbolt? Given that some people in the fandom apparently loathes any character advancement, I wouldn't be surprised if there was. Another defensive update from me, but given all of the negativity lately, it should not be surprising.

      It puts me in a great mood seeing this kind of positive atmosphere from people within the fandom and that I am not the only one who can see the good in change. I for one, think change can be a great thing and Twilight's advancement was a fantastic thing, because it shows that the writers are not afraid to actually develop the characters further and explore further possibilities.

      Plus, we now get to see another or even other characters gain further advancement as well down the line. On top of this, the characters personalities are not changing, again, Twilight as an example. To me, it is a win-win-win.
