Flaret

FLaret blinked, but eventually sighed. Her ears went backwards a little as she walked into the store and sat herself down, picking up the books with her magic, fixing them and stacking them one by one. She could feel a dark presence, but shaked it off as the magic that had been used. The owner of the book store smiled carefully. "Thank you, Flaret," he said. She nodded and smiled back. "It's nothing." When she lifted up one of the books that just fell, but wasn't ripped, the feeling came back. It had a red cover and emitted a dark aura. Mumbling to herself she brought it closer to her. "I've never seen this one before," she muttered,

((Sorry, a pony's got to sleep! What did I miss?)) Flaret, who had sneaked outside for a bit to catch a breath of air, quietly entered the party again. The wind had roughed up her mane a bit ("Stupid, stupid, stupid move," it sounded in her head), but it didn't look too terribly on her. She made her way to the table with punch and looked around a little before she took a cup and scooped some of it in. Everyone already seemed to get along well, maybe going out hadn't been such a good idea...

Flaret looked up and then smiled, a bit nervously still. "My name is Flaret, nice to meet you too," she said, reaching out her hoof. The drink was still floating next to her, it didn't really seem to cost her any energy to hold it there. "So, you were invited too? I barely know the host, but I thought socializing a bit wouldn't hurt."

Flaret smiled and nodded. She took over the cocktail with ease, using her own levitation spell to do so. "Thank you. Letrix, right?" A bit hestitatingly she walked inside, she was the first visitor, it seemed. Quietly she peered around before she turned to look at the door opening. She saw another mare coming in and smiled, though she didn't say anything yet. She didn't want to bother anyone...

She was a bit jumpy as she made her way to the door. Flaret had been eager to leave a long time ago, but she knew that she would have been way too early if she had done that. Now she would be just on time! With a nervous smile on her face she knocked on the door. The colt who invited her said there were going to be more ponies, but she hadn't seen anyone yet. Maybe everypony was inside already, was she late? Or maybe they weren't coming and she was going to be all alone... Quickly she shaked her head, as if she wanted to throw the thoughts out. She was going to be fine, it was going to be a fun night. She barely knew Letrix, but for as far as she had seen he was a nice colt. Flaret had a chocolate brown coat and her hair was neatly brushed and put away in a loose ponytail. She looked way more groomed than she normally did, "Anyone there?" she asked as she knocked on the door again, carefully. "It's me, Flaret. You invited me for the party."

Flaret seemed to be getting angry now, the volume of her usually quiet voice was turned up a notch. "The owner has been here for decades and you just destroyed his life's work, go back and fix it!" She stomped her hoof on the ground, sparks dancing from her horn. Everypony who knew her knew that she didn't get angry easily, in fact, she hadn't ever shown any anger since she moved to Ponyville.

I've had the Iphone 3 for two years, but it broke because of cracks in the casing. Recently I have gotten myself the new Samsung Galaxy S3, and I must say: I'm never going back. Androids allow you so much more freedom, you can customize them a lot more (I currently have a live wallpaper of Fluttershy on the background), the screen is nice and big, there's a lot more apps and you can actually download and use files on there. The only downside would be that I downloaded some apps that have given me adds on the phone (can't easily get rid of that) and I have a hardware issue where the earphone jack isn't working correctly, so I have to send it back. Other than that: android, definitely.

Ooh, I really like it! Though the bodies might be a teensy bit too long for the size of the legs. I'm trying to join in with that rp too! They look adorable. <3

I really like the colouring on this piece, especially her eyes! You're right about some things, like the wings. Maybe it would suit your style better if you would connect them to the body completely, that's what I do. They would then run until the part where her hind legs begin, more or less. Also, I think you made her hind legs a tiny bit too big, if you compare them to the front legs they are a good bit too long. I don't see a lot wrong with the anatomy of her 'arms' really. In the show they don't always stick to what's possible for a real horse, either. Just take a look at Pinkie pie! As for the shading, I think her right hind leg has a bit too much lighting that I think her body would normally block, but it isn't that big of a deal. I'm trying to be constructive, I really like your piece and the style and it looks amazing already, but that's just some small things I noticed, just trying to get you some useful feedback ^^

Flaret, who was still standing outside, looked up as the owner of the store let out a scream. Her ears perked up and she saw books flying around, being damaged and torn. "Hey! What the hay are you doing?" She stepped in front of Shadow, trying to block her acces to outside. "That was uncalled for, you should go inside and fix what you did." A determination that wasn't there before had appeared in her eyes.

Ah, I'm sure I could pull that off! She's troubled easily. xD Her age is modified, that goes without saying. Would 16 be alright?

Flaret frowned a little upon hearing her name, but didn't comment on it. "Right over here." She came to a halt in front of an old book store. "If there's any rare books you're looking for, they have some here." The unicorn smiled politely, she didn't have to go in herself today. She just bought a few books there a few days ago, after all.

I'm allergic to cats, so that'd be pretty terrible. xD But if I weren't I'd probably turn into a maine coon or something! Or a crossbreed.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to throw the villian in soon? ^^ Everyone is kind of in the same area right now, so I think it would be the best timing.

"I'm sure it'll have what you're looking for, but I can't promise you you will find it fast." She happily trotted in the direction of the bookstore, leading Shadow Stalker to the right place. "What's your name? My name is Flaret," she said as she slowed her pace to look behind her.

Flaret calmed down a little when the other pony didn't seem to mind her talking and her smile broadened. "The library has quite a variety on books to study out of, but the old book shop has some very interesting books about magic that haven't been touched for ages. It just takes a while to find them. What kind of book are you looking for?" Her ears perked up a little, she always liked talking about her hobbies.

Flaret cheered up a bit when Shadow Stalker mentioned books. Determined to help her with something to make up for the unfortunate accident she started talking. "I just got back from the library, I can show you where it is if you want to! Oh, and there's also an old book shop in town, but I doubt you'd find what you're looking for there. They have some interesting stuff there, though, this one time-." Flaret kept rambling on, though after a few more lines she suddenly stopped and looked down. "I'm talking too much, aren't I? Sorry." SHe smiled faintly.

Flaret, daydreaming as she was walking back from the library, was not really looking out for other ponies as she moved through the shade. She had always preferred the shade above the sun, as she was usually warm and the sun was a bit bright, especially at this time of day. She got herself a whole bag full of new books and was reading one of them. The lack of sight caused her to bump into Shadow Stalker. The book fell to the ground and she stumbled backwards. "I'm sorry, are you alright?" she asked, her ears drooped a little.

Flaret couldn't help but stare at Hank for a bit. What an odd appearance that pony had, or was it a zebra? She couldn't tell with that hood. Either way it didn't make her feel very comfortable. As Rarity hopped off she was pondering whether she should follow, go her own way or just stay with the hooded pony. A small, nervous laugh was on her face for a moment as she pulled on her saddlebag, using magic again. She had been on her way to the library to return the books. Mumbling to herself she tried to decide what she was going to do. After a while she just started moving again, cursing her nervousness. She didn't want to seem rude, but she didn't want to stick around to wait and see what the pony was hiding under the hood either.
