    Thanks. I've been drawing pretty much all my life, and have constantly been going back and forth about going back to college for it (tried it online several years ago and it was awful). My anxiety has gotten so bad the past few years that just thinking about it stresses me out a bit though. But anyways... I really should be but instead I've been sitting here doing this to music for the past few hours...

    If I had a tablet again I totally would, but I sold my Wacoms a few years back thinking I'd never use them again. I've been regretting that a lot here lately. In fact, last night when I couldn't sleep I made some avatars for Something Floaty. He had a status message wanting Pinkie in a Starfleet uniform firing a phaser... so I made it using only a mouse.

    Seems fitting considering the snow that's back on the ground around here. My Exploder was covered this morning, and had icicles hanging off it all day. I thought we were only suppose to get a light dusting?!

    That's a cool pic, I just question Rarity's decision to put that pink on Luna. A green, yellow, or orange would have been a much more complementary color.

    I get it's a dislike of shipping in general, but that first quote directs it at Rarijack foremost. Just call me the old-school Ghostie of Rarijack, I might get a tad defensive now and then. Not like I tore into him or anything, just made some points in defense of Rarijack. If you ship something else that's fine, I just don't see it as something that has to be stuck out there in that manner within a group of people that is clearly going to ruffle some feathers. S'all good, we're all cool around here. Honestly though, now that Rarijack has their own fan club, Rarijack stuff should mostly be kept to that topic rather than flooding the AJ and Rarity clubs. Noire, creater of said Rarijack thread, I'm looking at you. Know what I mean, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more. :comeatus:

    Hate to tell you this, but you're in the wrong thread to keep saying anti-Rarijack stuff. There is a very good bond between Rarity and AJ fans, and quite a few of us (okay, more than a few) completely agree with Rarijack as best shipping. Not all of us see it in a sexual manner, but we see just how well they work together and totally ship it. These two characters require a deeper understanding then just basing your understanding of them at face value, and I feel that most true AJ and Rarity fans see that. This is the reason most AJ/Rarity fans grew to love these two over time rather then just jumping on a bandwagon because of a "cool factor" or something. Although some saw how awesome these two were from the start. It's a much better ship then that horrid Apple Dash, that relationship would crash in a month because of the competitive nature of both ponies. They are much better suited as a prime example of a bromance then really good girlfriends, sexual or not.

    I think these replies sum it up. It started primarily with males, and has just stayed that way for the most part. Though I would wager there are more than a few females who do not let their gender be known because of "internet fears" for a lack of better word. The cartoons thing makes a lot of sense too. I'd say out of all the women I've known over the years, 90% of them thought cartoons were stupid. The ones who didn't probably still wouldn't watch something like FIM since it's seen as a little girl cartoon rather than something like Futurama.

    I would hope so, otherwise that's such a waste. Nothing quite like the texture of a butterfly wing or the taste of a bird's foot on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
