    Finally get into a beta weekend for Wildstar, and I am thoroughly unimpressed. Shame.

      lol That about sums it up. Wildstar is good, but just too many flaws. I really don't think they are close enough to "finished" to be only about a month from launch. I went from looking forward to it, thinking it would be a sci-fi version of TERA, but instead it uses archaic controls similar to WoW that just don't work well with the action combat. It very much feels like SWTOR all over again.

      I feel like most "WoW-Killer" MMO's feel about like SWTOR. They set this ridiculously lofty goal above themselves, try to compete with some mega-giant while being different and ripping it off at the same time. Then everyone tears it down for not being WoW and goes back to playing WoW.

       

      I'm kinda certain that ESO will head that direction too in about a year.

      Blah, I honestly hate modern WoW with a passion. I played from early beta up to Cata almost non-stop, Cata had a hard time holding me though and I took several breaks before I ultimately quit for good. As an old-timer it was easy to see how bad it was getting after the release of Wrath.

       

      There's nothing wrong with "copying" WoW. WoW was nothing but a copy-cat anyways. WoW was just EQ with some improvements, so why shouldn't newer games be WoW with improvements. The p...

    Gotta say, awesome work tearing "Marshmallow" to pieces in the Bane vs. thread. Seems like more and more people only see Bane as a dumb brute and know nothing of his genius IQ and all that.

      lol Oh god, not that movie. Ruined every villain that was in it. Bane the worst though. How you turn a chess master into a one word guard dog is beyond me.
