Cass just couldn't take it. That pokemon was such a crybaby. Ignoring their conversation, Cass bid silent farewell to the unnamed trainer and accompanying Lucario, and headed off towards Route 29. A trainer with a Umbreon was there too. Cass and Floette wandered in a similar direction to them, near the treeline. Cass seemed interested in the Spinarak bobbing around the webs. She poked at one of the webs curiously, smiling at the cute little spiders. Floette, on the other hand, was floating near a nearby flower patch. She had exchanged her blue flower for a red one native to Route 29, and was floating curiously towards a Ledyba that was flitting around near it.
  4. Nuzleaf seemed to struggle with himself for a second, grapping with emotions other than dislike. It looked painful. Of course, Vulpix wouldn't know this. He ended up smirking over at Vulpix in the end. "I can handle myself. Hopefully you can too." He grunted, shrugging. "Oddish has to be around here somewhere." Cue Oddish landing on his head or something.
  5. @, Nuzleaf snuck around the rockslide, careful to avoid Togekiss' line of sight. It took him a while, but he ended up emerging out of a clump of bushes in front of the mystery dungeon, right behind Vulpix. "I haven't missed anything important, have I?" He asked, sitting down next to Vulpix, and plucking a blade of grass out of the ground to fiddle with.
  6. I'd be happy to provide my voice for one or any of the male characters. I've not done any voice acting gigs before, but I have been quite involved in my local drama community, so I know HOW to act. And I'm willing to learn. My voice is a bass, but I have a fair falsetto as well, and I sing regularly. Not sure if that makes a difference. I can do multiple parts if you decide I'm up for it. As somewhat of a hobbyist author and critic myself, I'd be happy to provide feedback and maybe help you write some stuff as well. I've a fairly busy schedule, however, so I don't know how much I'd be able to contribute in that area. Feel free to message me. I'll give you my skype name there, and we can talk about it there. Skype's most convenient for me, and it's easier than renting out recording equipment from my university library.

Cass had been about to respond when they were dragged into Elm's office. Cass picked up a pokedex with the others, and spent a moment examining it before realizing she was being left behind. She dashed after the group onto Route 29, where the not-french Kalosian was battling the dude who had let her off the bus. She stopped to watch, sitting beside someone else who was watching the battle, sitting on the ground. Floette danced in the breeze behind her, coming to rest on Lucario's shoulder. Maybe she'd learn a bit about these two as they battled. "Bonjour," she murmured to the seated trainer. "I'm Cassie Kade. You may call me Cass. What's your name?" She sounded a little haughty, but not unfriendly. @,@,@,
  8. Member Photon Jet challenged the Fighting Gym for the Fist badge today. The Leader used an experimental team of Mienshao, Scrafty, Heracross and Breloom against the challenger's Tyranitar, Quagsire, Gardevoir and Noivern. After an exciting battle, half of which was pure stalling, the Challenger successfully claimed the Fist Badge. The Fist Gym is undergoing renovations. Primeape is no longer the Featured Pokemon, but it is still open for challenge. Until there is a new featured Pokemon, expect anything. Spectators: 4P3G-WWWW-WWW6-7UB4

@@Ampharos, "Oh. I'm here for Johto." She shrugged, and sat back down in her seat, now ignoring the boy. Kanto. Phneh. They were yokels over there, she'd heard. Johto was where it's at. ((She has a pretty snooty French accent. That's Lumiose for you.)) @, @ "Ladies first?" Cass smiled, and slipped of the bus behind the woman with a Helioptile. Wait, a Helioptile? Maybe she wasn't the only Kalosian here. "Oh, bonjour! Etes-vous peut-être de l'endroit où je suis également d?" She asked, smiling kindly at the rather taller girl than her, as Floette floated behind her shoulder. (Poorly Google Translate French:

Cassie Kade reclined on one of the bus benches she had to herself, a small pokemon holding a blue flower swimming in the air beside her. A pokemon that small did not deserve it's own seat. It could have fit in the girl's closed hand if it had wanted to. She attempted to relax, but the bus was too noisy. "Having trouble sleeping, too, Flo'?" Her Floette squeaked. "Thought so." She reclined across most of her private seat, listening to the bloke behind her talk to his grumpy-sounding Growlithe. He mentioned something about home. "Home?" Cass sat up in her seat, peering over it at the boy behind her. She was barely tall enough to see over it. "Excusez-moi. Did you just say you were from here?"
  11. Jared's hand extended, and his other hand slowly went towards his pocket. From it, he pulled a pokepuff that he must have had in there the whole time. He held it out to the Vulpix, hoping it'd take the bait as an act of kindness. Renee shuddered, holding her arms close to herself. "What's going on? It's not your machine doing this, is it?" Taylor asked. Flaaffy scampered across the room, back to where Renee was, and hugged her leg. Renee stroked Flaaffy's wool comfortingly. @,
  12. Jared paused thoughtfully. She was a follower too? Well, that was hardly surprising. He wouldn't hassle her about which she was though. He had a shrewd idea who, and he'd probably find out who it was soon enough anyway. "I like Fire Types, yeah, but that's less a god thing and more about being raised in Snowpoint City." Jared shuddered. "It's cold there. And typing isn't really a priority thing with mine." He paused as they approached their pokemon. Purrloin scampered up Serperior's back, leapt off its head, and landed snugly on Jared's shoulders. The yapping Growlithe followed. "Hm... I'll take the fox one. I don't think yappy here and Purrloin are gonna get along very well." Jared withdrew Purrloin. Noivern descended from the sky and landed with a thud on the ground near Jared. Although Jared wasn't sure whether beating this weaker-looking pokemon up was the best plan of action here. The Vulpix looked curious, not ferocious. "Hey, buddy. We're kinda busy here," Jared called impatiently and not quite politely. "Why don't you bother Comet later?" He turned his back on the prude, and knelt, extending a kind hand towards Vulpix. Growlithe seemed less interested in him now Purrloin was gone, although it continued to gaze at its pokeball.
  13. I'm gonna apologize for my absence lately right here. I'm on Spring Break from school, and as anyone who went to college away from home can testify, breaks are actually almost busier than schooldays. So I haven't had a lot of time to be around here. I have gotten a lot of training in, though. A Flying Gym should be up and running by tomorrow, and I've got a Rock Gym well on the way. I'm not sure. If you have eight badges we're all good, but we're thinking of mixing it up. There's a possibility we'll just create a Gym for every type, and to get the Eevee you have to beat all of them. The last four will use teams of 6. This is still all in discussion though. Regardless, we should have enough teams up for an Elite Four soon.
  14. Purrloin mewed indignantly at Serperior's attempts to shake him off its back. Dogs chased cats, and Purrloin didn't particularly feel like being chased. It dodged the swipes of Serperior's tail. Noivern landed back in front of Comet and Jared heavily. It seemed to want them to follow it, it having noticed what was going on with Serperior and Purrloin from up in the sky. It took off again almost immediately. Jared shrugged at Comet and walked after his dragon. "So... Yeah, what is the hype about fire types with you, anyway? We loved them in my hometown because of the cold, but that doesn't seem like a good reason to keep fire Pokemon in a region like this." As they walked, there was no reason they couldn't discuss. Noivern was circling a decent distance away, one that should at least allow for the two to share two or three posts of dialogue.
  15. Nuzleaf sulked, ready to take up the rear of the group. It was clear they weren't really supposed to divide into teams until they were in the dungeon, and anyway, this Bagon was kinda amusing. He sat, fiddling with a blade of grass on the ground, content to listen to this conversation. The Bagon ran off, and flicking the grass aside, Nuzleaf noticed that they were being left behind. "Come on, you two, it's time we got to the rockslide with the rest of'em." He patted the timid-looking Cottonee on the back a bit, then started walking. Upon reaching eyeshot of the rockslide, Nuzleaf came to a dead halt, lurching a bit. He squinted his eyes. That Togekiss looked familiar. Maybe he'd be better off just waiting for the others at the dungeon. @,@@Ampharos,
  16. Sounds good to me. I'll update the original post. Original Post updated. As more gyms get completed, I'll move a few up to the Elite Four.
  17. As Bolty said, Nintendo's servers are down. So it's not you. Hey, Roomie! Nice to see you made it! Shame no more battles can take place today though. :/
  18. @@Snowy Storm, "Mmhm." Nuzleaf sounded bored. He smirked at the idea of Growlithe's honor, and perhaps more so at Froakie's statement expecting it. He trodded along behind Froakie, clearly not really present at all. His mind was far away, far away. Honor. Pshh. He'd gotten along fine without it most of his life. There was restraint there, but sometimes there are things more important than being all honorable and righteous and whatnot, Nuzleaf thought.
  19. Sup. Nice to see you've finally joined the site! Hopefully you'll enjoy your stay here.
  20. Nuzleaf smirked. "You're darn right I can hold my own." Dude seemed awful sure of himself, if not condescending. However, he didn't question Froakie's assuming leadership. Frankly, Nuzleaf didn't really care enough to question it. "I'm Nuzleaf. Not even gonna question how Oddish already knew that." O.o This face pretty much sums up Nuzleaf's response to the flirting. Although, of course, he's way too chill to ever actually show that that face was his reaction to the tail thing. In fact, it would have been impossible to notice a physical reaction to it.
  21. The loner quietly strode through Ledge Town. No one paid him any mind. This suited him just well; he liked the shadows, and it was exceptionally easy to get through a town unnoticed if one knew how. Nuzleaf did. He'd been doing it for ages. And where he walked, he walked alone. Until recently. Thanks a lot, Magnezone. Reaching the point where they were supposed to meet, Nuzleaf stopped and sneered, evaluating the group. Other than the dragon, these pokemon looked like a light breeze might blow them all away. None of them looked like Rescue Team material, especially the Oddish ricocheting off everywhere like a bullet. Wasn't that supposed to be his boss? What've you gotten youself into, Nuzleaf? Disdainfully, Nuzleaf approached the group. "Is this the team?" He seemed to half hope it wasn't. "Radiance?" What had he expected from a team with a name like that?
  22. My FC's in the OP. I can't really do this until around 4 or 5, as I have a pretty busy schedule today, so be patient. If you're interested in being a gym leader, we should really discuss options on Skype. If you're serious about this, you have to be willing to commit the time. I've been competitively battling since Pearl Version, so I can definitely help you figure out your teams if you need advice.
  23. I have six to give out. Pretty sure I mentioned it somewhere... I'm not sure about the IV's, I was breeding for shinyness, not really for stats. However, I can illuminate you on the specs of each Eevee. Prize: Female. Timid. Adaptability. Hope: Female. Mild. Adaptability. Herald: Male. Relaxed. Adaptability. Victor: Male. Jolly. Run Away. Donnie: Male. Careful. Run Away. Bonnie: Female. Quiet. Adaptability. Does that work for you? Or do you want me to get them checked with the potential guy in Kiloude City? 'Fraid I can't help you with that, my FS is Fighting. I could breed my Volcarona for you though.
  24. On the DS? I'd say my favorite was HeartGold or SoulSilver, although Platinum was a runner up. I didn't like Unova. :I SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION MODE ACTIVATED So we've got a gym system set up on MLPforums. First six who defeat the elite four (we're close to having one) will earn a shiny Eevee. :3 If you have X and Y, feel free to challenge. http://mlpforums.com/topic/88280-pokemon-xy-gym-challenge-shiny-eevees-go-to-champions/
  25. N's right. Message me about it. I think we have someone who wants to have a normal team. We can't exactly have two, but I can discuss this with you, and with her. Just send me a message and we'll open discussions on Skype.
