Dan was deep in thought. 'Ok, here are the facts.' he thought to himself, 'Tempest's family was responsible for the creation of the computer, the thing in which Amber is now trapped inside. Tempest most likely blames himself. He won't tell her about this, he'll dodge her as much as possible now. I would. On top of this, Tempest is now suspect. Fact is, the computer is a mystery. We don't know why it was made and we don't know what it was for. What are the odds of him being sent to a school so close to his now deceased father's creation. This isn't adding up at all.' After his brain storm, Dan decided that he and Tempest needed to talk. He ran off with a dark look on his face from his previous thoughts, highly unusual, especially for him, and without a word to the others. He was headed towards the factory.

"I...what?! Amber's trapped?? But-" Whisper was at a loss for words. A spring of information had gushed up out of nowhere and suddenly Tempest and Dan were gone. More and more Whisper grew to believe this thing was evil, already she was suspicious of Tempest. Should she be suspicious of Meghan as well?

 

She finally withdrew two rubber band bracelets she crafted and placed them on Meghans lap. "I thought it might help with the shocky thing..."

Meghan was shocked, to say the least, about Amber. She had wondered about her and whether she would show up. But now that she knows, Meghan is extremely scared. Did she do that? Did she somehow trap Amber when the system powered back up? It could be possible. "Amber's t-t-trapped?" Meghan asked fearfully. When Whisper placed the rubber band bracelets on her lap, Meghan looked down at them, broken out of her reverie. "Thanks, Whisper." Meghan said nervously. She looked at the bracelets and slipped them onto her wrist. Meghan took the gloves off and out the pair of gloves in her pocket. Hopefully the bracelets will help.

Tempest sighed as he entered a cavern within the glacier. "What am I going to do?" He thought. "I know I should tell her, but what would she think?" The teen then sighed and punched a wall. "Why is it that everyone I come into contact with dies?" He screamed. "It must be me." Tears then began to roll down Tempest's eyes, and he leaned against the wall.

Rush shook his head, trying to clear away all the confusing thoughts of the technical stuff this whole thing entailed. "I don't really understand all of this, but the way I see it, if she's trapped, the only thing to do is to go in there and get her out. I don't know how we'd do that, but we can't just let her stay stuck in there."

"But what if it's a trap set by Tempest? To get the others too? He seems really eager to keep going back." Whisper answered, going back to pick at her plate. Now she was worried about Dan, who probably went after Tempest to that Lyoko place.

He shrugged. "I'm not scared of him. And besides, whether it is or not, I don't see how we can just leave her in there and not even try to do something about it." He blushed suddenly. "And anyway, I can think of worse things than spending the rest of my life alone with you."

Meghan took a deeo breath and forced herself to calm down from her near self-induced panic attack. "Who is Tempest? I don't remember him at all. The only people I do remember are Dan, Amber, Genesis and you two. I don't remember anything about a Tempest." Meghan asked them, almost bringing hersekf to tears because she couldn't remenber anything about him, not to mention that Amber's entrapment coukd be her fault.

Whisper flushed red furiously, taking the opportunity to wrap an arm around Meghan "You haven't seen him, I think. Relax okay?". The strands of hair on Whispers head slowly began sticking up.

 

"Why don't we go investigate then?" She looked back at Rush, still red.

Tempest was about to stand, when a bright light enveloped the chamber. "What now?" He groaned. A searing pain more accute than anything Tempest had coursed through his mind. The teen then roared in pain, before collapsing onto the floor, unconcious.tempest didn't know what was going on, and he was scared about what might happen.

Meghan felt her hair stand on end due to all the electricity she was generating. "Haven't seen him? Ha! I bet one of my OTHER personalities saw him and maybe that'a why I can't remember!" Meghan said, sounding slightly hysterical. "Relax? How can I relax when I'm a fucking electric generator!?" Meghan managed to keep her voice quiet but she was having a hard time keeping her emotions in check.

Whisper pulled away; she had gotten a good shock but decided it best not to tell Meghan. It would only make her freak out more. She rubbed her arms and hopped off the table and onto the grass quickly "If you don't then you'll only get worse!".

 

Genesis slept soundly on her bed, blissfully unaware of the recent unfolded events.

Meghan took a shuddering breath but her heart sped up anyway and to compensate for the electricity overload, it shut itself down for a split second to get rid of the excess electricity. In that split second, Meghan closed her eyes and slumped forward, falling onto the grass. When her heart restarted, she kept her eyes closed and breathed slowly.

Rick tapped the screen, it flickered some jumping a little with Amber still on it but not moving now. "Uh hello? You there?" It seemed like the screen had frozen, could a super computer like this freeze? Maybe it had to do with Tempest storming through again and using the pods, did that kid ever chill out? He sighed moving the window with Amber and looking at an overview of Lyoko, it seemed to be running fine still which was good he couldn't imagine what would happen if the game froze and needed to be reset while people were still inside it.

 

He spoke to the screen wondering if she could here him, "Well you're signals having some problems getting through or something, I've been wanting to check that place out anyway so I'll just come in." He went over to the pods climbing in one, it activated and he opened his eyes to the Forest sector in what seemed to be form fitting ninja gear and on his belt were a sickle and chain. "Huh, that's pretty cool." He pulled it loose fiddling with the weapon and walking to explore the forest.

Dan reached the factory in record time. 'I'd be happy if the situation was any different.' he thought to himself as he called the elevator. When he reached the control room, he noticed that there was some activity on the screen.

He saw the avatars of three people: Amber, obviously, Tempest, which he saw coming, and one he hadn't seen before. "Hey, who is this? I know you can hear me." He said into the microphone near the console. Dan suspected that the unknown Avatar was someone he knew, but still wanted to be sure.

Tempest groaned as he woke up. He then looked around, and sighed. "So, that wasn't a dream." He muttered. The teen didn't know why, but he felt strange. "I might as well get out if here." With that, Tempest walked out of the glacier, barely making his way out of a crack with in the wall. He then sat on the edge of the cliff, and looked into the air. "So, I guess the others hate me, including you, Dan?"

Rick heard the voice speaking that seemed to be speaking from nowhere, it was one that he recognized.  So he simple spoke aloud to the air hoping the guy might hear him, "Uh hey man this is Rick Heirmann, I think we met before.  You were that dude passed out in the elevator yesterday right?  I was the one you wanted to fight when you first woke up."  he gave a bit of a nervous laugh, it hadn't been the best introduction,  "Where are you at and what's your name anyways?  You in the computer room, is this what it's like when someone outside is talking into the game?"

"Oh yeah, now I remember you." Dan said, remembering that night, "And I can still take you in a fight, but forget about that. My name's Dan, but we have a problem. I need you to find Tempest, the other guy who was in the computer with me. He went in again and, well, It's not a good idea to travel alone in there. According to this map he's a couple kilometers south of you. I'm gonna keep him where he is."

Dan then switched over to Tempest "Dude, can you hear me?"

Tempest sighed, and nodded. " Yeah. I can hear you." He said, slightly depressed. "Look, I don't know what you or the others want to believe, but I had no idea that any one in my family had done this." The teen then stood up and looked at his reflection against his swords. "You know I love her, don't you. I never intended for Amber to get trapped and would gladly take her place." A few tears then rolled down Tempest's face, as he stood up. "I'm good with computers, so maybe I can find a way to bring her back. If not, I don't know what I'll do."

Dan sighed "Ok, I'm gonna be honest with you man, because you're a friend." Dan started, "I'm not gonna lie, you're suspect. Even you have to admit, something's off here. The fact that you were sent to a school not a mile away from your family's creation is really weird to say the least.  Even so, you've done nothing but help out since we found this thing so I do believe you're on our side, whether you knew about this or not. Right now, you're no good to anyone, so get out of there or i'll come in and belt you one myself." He then raised his fist, even though Tempest couldn't see it, and hope his, sort of, pep talk worked.

Tempest smiled slightly and chuckled lightly. "You're right. I just need a few days to get my head straight." He said, his mood lightening for a moment. "I guess it is odd though that I'm going to a school close to the factory. I'll try to talk to my uncle later." With that Tempest grabbed his swords and pointed the blades towards his body.. He hesitated to de virtualized himself, unsure if this was the right choice.

Whisper gasped when Meghan fell. She was at a loss for qords and a small crowd of students started gathering around them. "Rush! Call the hospital! I dont know what to do!"

 

 

Genesia flicked through the papers some more since she was alone. Some of them listed a few names; notably Jeremy and Aelita. "What kind of name is that?"

 

Whoever this Jeremy was, a lot of the handwritten were his. There were students before them it seemed.

"Right, of course!" He quickly pulled out his phone and dialed 911. "Hello? My friend just collapsed, I don't know what to do!... We're at Kadic Academy." He turned back to Whisper. "Alright, there should be an ambulance coming soon. Do you think I should carry her to the nurse's office or something?"

"We should carry her to the school gates and meet the ambulance" she answered while trying to get the o that er students to leave. It was an unsuccessful attempt since they were so keen on finding out what happened to the purple-haired girl.

 

A thought crossed her mind "Dart! Dart where are you?!". Shr called out as loud as she could.

Dan sat back in the chair and breathed a sigh of relief. Tempest was coming around and things looked to be getting better. then he remembered Rick.

He switched he com. over to Rick. "Dude, never-mind about Tempest, he came around. Feel free to do whatever while you're in there because I have no idea how to get you out."
