He clearly has no knowledge about what a Christian is suppose to behave like. In fact, it seems as if he simply uses Christianity to screen his hateful acts rather than actually following the teachings of Jesus Christ. Don't judge all Christians based off people like him. On a large scale, people who feel they have a right to decide whether someone else's beliefs are "outdated" and are willing to be intolerant of others are just as bad, if not worse than those who they speak against. I myself have went through troublesome times when people are being blockheads. When you yelled out to him that's fueling his fire to be a jerk towards you or others. Mainy you since it seems like he takes an interest in bothering you. However if he keeps troubling you, talk to someone about it about handling the situation in different stratergies. Guest March 19, 2012 Share March 19, 2012 (edited) To me it sounds like this kid is hungry for attention and does these sort of things for that reason (people have done far worse for much stupider reasons), also I have to ask where the teacher was through all of this? If this kid is bugging people the teacher should be telling him to GTFO or do some actual work, and if he is making threats to fight you or anypony else that should also be a big "red flag" for any teacher. If not for attention then he might have some sort of undiagonsed mental disorder (it happens sometimes, and severe cases could lead to someone acting like this), or he could just be an annoying jerk and use his religion negatively to support his own beliefs and fill in gaps in his reasoning. Any way the cookie crumbles I would either ignore the kid somehow or get a staff-members attention brought to him. I know you said that you have tried to ignore them, but just try to be nice to him and just nod your head and smile when he spouts his bs at you. You will never be able to change someone like that. You will encounter many more like him in your life. Might as well be nice than exacerbate the problem with anger, or end up doing something you'll regret later. Lastly, I know this is much, MUCH easier said than done. I used to have a whole heap of anger problems, but letting someone else control how you feel really does make things worse. ScarletDagger 88 March 20, 2012 Share March 20, 2012 ok, so today in my biology class, we got to dissect sharks, a normaly fun activity ruined by one kid this kids name is robert, now before we go on, let me tell you about robert robert is a phyco, not only that, hes a religous nut job, now ive said before, i have nothing against people with religoin, except when they are like this kid! forcing it down other peoples throats, constantly cotrdicts himself, and is an idiot! this kid has even admitted to hearing voices in his head! it is impossible to describe how stupid and annoying this kid is now with the story, so in class he opts out of doing the dissection because he thinks it would be too gross, whatever, but instead of doing the virtual lab like the teacher suggested, he walks around the class room being a general annoyance, at one point i even yelled at him to shut up, he then threatens to fight me, now this isnt the first time hes done this, but he thinks he can win because hes black and because he hangs with other black people(he also claims to be middle class despite living in the projects), at this point its taking every once of be not to walk up to him and jab my scapul into his eye! oh it gets better! at the end of class, after hes done with his raging at getting mad at every thing, he has the gaul to call himself a saint and his exact quotes "im a saint because im a christian, and i love everybody" in my head i am screaming "F*** YOU!" its people like him that give christians a bad name, saddly i have the next class with him too, again hes all up in my face saying things like "god will strike me down" and the like, ever since i became a brony, ive really tried to be a better person, ive tried to stop judging people, and ive been more open minded, ive tried to take love and tolerence to heart, but its kids like this who make it damn near impossible! I have a religious psycho in my biology class that does the EXACT same thing. But to me mostly because I'm atheist. And I start dissections next week! Wouldn't be my first though. I dissected.
