"Aye, Frosty Hooves I be... And you be Violet... Understood." he said, as he too slowed down to not attract any suspicion. He bent down a little too, so that his height would not attract as much attention as usual as well.

 

They soon reached the Marine Base, seemingly a bit quiet after a lot of the marines there had gone to check up on the mess they had created in town.

Lollipop cleared her throat a bit before going inside and to the reception desk "Pardon me yellomezu. Bud could yu tell us where to turn in bounties?" She said in a horribly foreign accent just for the hell of it, it seems. "Got a bounty? Alright, it's in the room to the right here" The Marine responded politely in which Lollipop nodded with a smile and carried the unconscious pirate into the other room. Sugar put him down and took off his pirate hat so the marine could get a better look. "This  is Fierce as you can see on the bounty over there. We'd like to claim the reward for his head if that's alright." 
 
The marine turned pale. "A-a-are you serious? Okay...That'll give you about 7000 belle"  In which Lollipop's jaw drops "Wait, what? But the bounty only says 3000." Lollipop said, being very confused. about the ordeal. "That bounty needs to be updated...We just got info that he joined the Slaughterhouse Pirates after murdering a captain gruesomely...His crewmembers are renown for not forgetting a face. So I'd be careful if I were you" Lollipop just cut him off "Just give us the money so we can get out of here" In which the marine hoofed them a nice big stack. Lollipop leaned towards Frost "If those pirates find us, we'll probably die"

Frosty Hooves, as he now had mentally prepared to call himself, chuckled a little. "Aye, but a small crew like ours will be harder to find and catch up with if we get a fast ship." he said, giving her a smile, though it was only visible on his eyes as half of his face was covered.

 

"If we are lucky, they might even send smaller parties to deal with us... Maybe a little stronger than this one 'ere, but he was not really a big match to begin with, eh?" he said, before chuckling a little more.

 

"And this could also be plain exciting if ye ask me..."

"I suppose...I mean, one can't become the queen of pirates without a bit of a reputation can they? I guess we are going to skip on the underlings a lot of pirates tend to have and go for  the elites when we recruit them. We can't have a huge ship with a bigshot looking for us." Lollipop said, pondering her next move. 

 

"We should go. Lord knows they probably already claimed our old ship."

He gave her a nod.

"We should go yeah..." he said, before quietening his voice quite a bit: "Who knows for how long our disguises are going to fool the marines... We might not be all that known by face, but they are sure to maybe have a poster or two lying around..." he whispered.

"Yeah, we should get going" Lolli said and moved out, hiding her stack of money. "We are going to just ask for the fastest ship and then set out to sea once more. We need to look for a log pose in another town." She said as they trotted out. Making her way to the shipyard. "Besides, anypony would accept a nice stack of cash."

"And if not, I suspect you want to use some hagglin' to get a good bargain, eh?" he said, walking close behind her.

 

After walking for a bit, he asked:

"Do ye know of any other towns on the way there then? We are not all that far from the entrance to the Grand Line...", he said, looking up a little.

"Crud. You are right. We are basically at the last town before the grand line...Hhmn. Guess we need to take a detour to steal one before we set sail. Not like we are ever coming back to this place anyhoof. There's a lot of sailors that are eager to enter the grand line, so they probably have one we can take, if not buy for a bit of coin. " Lollipop planned as she kept her eye out for lurkers.

"Pirates... Pirates... Marines... Bounty... Pirates... Okay."

 

A young orange mare quietly muttered to herself, thinking out loud, as she hastily trotted through the marketplace of Loguetown. Once full of expectations, Lume Greenpark had just arrived the city with the help of a small group of old fishers she had met in her hometown. However, she had barely stepped out of their boat and was already feeling hopeless.

 

She did decide to go an adventure on her own, but little did she know how troublesome it would be to travel across the lands. She didn't have a plan, didn't have a crew, didn't even have any money on her. Quite obviously, Lume hadn't thought her 'adventure' through. But she had to do it: she had decided to. She would find a way to gather enough berries in order to buy a new, bigger and worthy home for her family, and change their lives completely. All she needed was time. And a little bit of planning.

 

"Okay, pirates..." Lume continued her deep thinking. "They're wanted... They've got a bounty for their heads... I could... No... No no no, I couldn't capture a freaking pirate by myself, are you kidding?... Am I?... Hm... I could ask the Marines though!... Gah, what would that matter... Perhaps if I--" The mare was interrupted when she clumsily bumped into another pony. Lume looked up to find a bulky, tall, quite intimidating stallion. With scars all over his face and an eyepatch covering his left eye, He looked down at her with an expression of pure anger and annoyance. Immediately, Lume took several steps back and apologized.

 

After she made sure that she wasn't going to be brutally slain by the stallion, she let out a deep sigh in relief and then promptly noticed a destroyed fruit stand on the sidewalk. "Aha! Signs of destruction!" Lume exclaimed as she hopped over near the stand to investigate. Lume then turned back to the intimidating fellow she had collided with earlier.

 

"E-excuse me... Matey?" To which the stallion replied with an unfriendly hmph. "Have you, by any chance, seen what happened here? W-who did this act of pure cruelty to the poor watermelons?" After a few seconds of silence, the pony replied with a strong, deep - and very fitting - tone of voice: "Aye." He said. "They also took our capt'n away." At that remark, Lume's eyes began to sparkle.

 

"Can you tell me where they went??"

"Yeah, we might bump into somepony or someone with a log pose... One would imagine they sold them by the harbour here, since as you said - final island before the crossing..." he said, as they ran along towards the harbour, as one would expect there to be ships for sale, if any there.

 

They took a minor detour though, as the shortest route were straight through the mess they had made earlier, so they ran to another street just before they reached there. Seeming to be a little eager for once, North made a few, unclear, frozen hoof-prints as they moved.

Lollipop nodded. "Yes. We could potentially steal a ship too. But the shipwrights have connections because of the huge amount of pirates in the area, so we probably shouldn't" She said, planning out loud as she had a habit of doing. 

 

They soon neared the harbor, where there was a noticeably large amount of shops and stores dedicated to sailing. Lollipop stood someplace where she could see most of them and tried to judge which one to look in first to save time.

"Heeeeey!! You two over there!" Lume shouted from afar, as she rapidly approached the ponies at the harbor. The peculiar, frozen-like hoofsteps she had been following led to them, so she was almost entirely sure what she was dealing with. The mare ran full-speed towards the two ponies, and stopped at a decent distance so she could speak to them.

 

"You over there!" Lume pointed at the pony wearing a hood and a scarf around his muzzle; the one that was seemingly tracing down the path of ice behind them. "You have a Devil Fruit power, don't you?" She mentioned the path of ice. "You're a pirate, aren't you??" She guessed everything faster than she should have. "Well, uh... you're both... under arrest!"

 

In reality, she had no idea what she was doing. If those two were, indeed, pirates (even though they didn't look like pirates), she didn't know how much - if any - bounty they had on their heads. In any case, the frightening stallion she had met at the watermelon stand had confirmed that the two had caused trouble anyway.

 

Speaking of which, the intimidating eye-patched stallion and a few more of his partners had been also following behind. They were considerably slower, however, and could be seen from a distance approaching the group. Only, they didn't look like they wanted to talk as much as they wanted to beat somepony up.

 

"Yes, yes, me and my, uh... mates... are going to capture you!" Lume absentmindedly told the two with a somewhat nervous grin on her face.

He smiled faintly.

"Seems like things are getting a little more hectic..." he said, before he stopped and faced those who chased after them.

 

Using his size and powers, he practically ran over the pirates helping this new pony. He had started running towards her, though when he got really close he jumped over her using wings and paws, landing behind her at which he gave Before running back to his captain, he stopped right in front of the one who wanted to arrest them.

 

"Have a good day, little pirate hunter." he said, with a bow before running off after his captain.

 

"I... Do not... Think I should do that... Right after running this far..." he said, trying to smile while panting as he caught up with Lollipop.

As the bunch of goons Lume had brought along rampaged forward, she just stood in place with an awkward smile pasted on her face. Would they be able to seize the two troublemakers, the mare was hoping they would be kind enough to share the reward with her afterwards. After all, she was the one who discovered the icy hoofprints in the first place. However, her plan didn't go so well.

 

The pony with the scarf turned around to face the attackers. He revealed his enormous size as he charged down on the thugs and practically sent them flying as if they were bowling pins. Immediately, Lume's pupils shrunk in fear and her ears flopped down. After the pony was done with her "mates", he started galloping towards her. She just covered her eyes and prepared to meet with her inevitable fate. However, on the last second, the scarfed pony leaped over her using his wings.

 

When Lume realized that she wasn't dead yet, she opened her eyes and saw the beast right in front of her.

 

"Have a good day, little pirate hunter." he said, with a bow before running off after his captain.

 

After that, the mare was left alone with several unconscious thugs around her.

 

"That... was... cool!" Lume quietly said to herself as she gradually stopped trembling in fear. "W-wait!!" She yelled to the two mysterious ponies as they ran away towards the ship docks. "I need to talk to you!!" As she chased after them once again.

Lollipop giggled a bit "You little show off" She said to North and nudged him before turning around. "Talk to my business associate while I go buy something." Lollipop said casually before trotting into a shop and buying a log pose and coming back out. "I'll see what I can do regarding a ship" She said as she exited the store and started bargaining with somepony.

"Aye, as ye say." he said, before walking over to this business associate about a ship. His ears perked up as the little pirate hunter had called for them. He gave her a somewhat confused glance, still trying to catch his breath a little. He then turned back to who he was talking to.

Noticing that his companion was busy, seemingly looking for a ship to rent, Lume decided to once again approach the scarfed, Devil Fruit user pegasus. She had never seen the true power of those mystical fruits before - she'd only read books about them. And even though she was still a little shaky from the scare, Lume wanted to try and convince them to help her, seeing as the pony had spared her life earlier.

 

She slowed down her pace once the two did as well, and tried to pull out a friendly smile. She stopped at a considerably safe distance from the pegasus.

 

"Um... Hi there, heheheh..." She began speaking to him. "So you guys really are pirates after all, eh? That's nice, that's nice... Well, I'm uh... I'm actually not a pirate hunter. I know, I know, I did say I was going to arrest you guys and all of that stuff... But you two seem like nice ponies and uh... I'm really sorry for causing trouble back there... Because the truth is... Well..." She began stuttering, too embarrassed to say it. With a sigh, she continued:

 

"Look, I was just trying to earn some money, okay? That's what I wanted. I was just desperate, I didn't know what to do and I somehow thought that asking for a bunch of thugs to capture pirates for me was going to be a good idea!" Lume then sat on the ground and looked down, ashamed.

 

"I... I need help."

Lollipop eventually trotted back to the others with a log pose and a deed.  She had changed her outfit a bit. Putting on a signature pirate hat and dropping the cruddy tourist get up.  She sat down near the two and smiled. "Well, we don't take random passengers that eat our food and steal our bells. What can you do to make yourself worth bringing along?"

North looked at them both.

"I say we bring her along... Well soon see if she will be useful or naught, as we soon will enter the Grand Line. And a little new company every now and then, I do not mind. Might make things more lively." he said, looking at the new pony.

 

"And ye got a ship, no?" he continued, turning to his captain.

 "Well, we don't take random passengers that eat our food and steal our bells. What can you do to make yourself worth bringing along?"

 

"Oh!... W-well, I'll do everything I can to help you guys out!" Lume beamed brightly when the two ponies seemed to agree with helping her out. She had briefly considered the idea of joining a pirate crew before since they were notorious treasure hunters and pillagers. Besides, she thought it should be an unique and exciting experience to live as an outlaw of the seas. So she liked the idea.

 

"I've read a lot of books about the Blue Sea, the Grand Line and everything! I can help navigate the ship, o-or even map our route!" She continued, lively. "My name is Lume - Lume Greenpark!" She introduced herself, bringing up a hoof towards the white mare, who seemed to be the captain of the ship, for a hoofshake.

Lollipop shook Lume's hoof and leaned close "Betray us, and you will regret it. Welcome aboard" She said as she motioned for them to follow her over to their new ship. The ship was rather basic. But it would get the job done, and done quick. The downside was that the banner wasn't  established yet, so they had no choice but to go with a plain look until they had someone color a good sign.

 

"We should probably hurry a bit lads." She said as she jumped onto the ship from the ground. Ignoring the board put there for her to walk across.

"See? She will even be of help for us." he said, smiling faintly at the two.

"And as ye say." he continued as his captain ordered them to hurry, though the moment he leant his big weight onto the gangplank, it broke.

 

"Oops." came from him, before he quickly turned around and quickly walked over to Lume. "My name be North Light, and now, if ye would allow me..." he said, before picking her up and onto his back. "...I will give ye a hoof or four." he continued as he leapt over onto the ship before gently letting her down onto the deck. He then proceeded with removing his scarf and hood, seeing as it was not needed any more.

Once the gangplank leading onto their ship broke apart, Lume just blankly stared at it, partly wondering how would she get across, but mostly pensive about this new journey she suddenly agreed in partaking. She was startled when the blue pegasus - who then introduced himself as North Light - neared her and threw her onto his back.

 

"...I will give ye a hoof or four."

 

"Oof, oh, okay! Um, so what are you gonna-- AHH!!" She let out a panic scream, as they glided over the gap and onto the ship's deck. "T-t-thank you..." She told North Light as she tried to stop her legs from shaking. Just then when she was finally aboard the ship, where she would most likely spend the next couple of weeks, that she realized the serious mistake she had made.

 

(( OOC: I think I forgot to mention that, but Lume hates traveling by boat; she gets seasick very easily. So this will surely be fun. :3 ))

Lollipop set sail as fast as she could, noticing a small crowd of angry pirates surfacing. "To the Grand Line!" Lollipop said as she posed randomly on the ship pointing in the appropriate direction with a hoof. She trotted over to the rest with a big smile "Shall we see what we got in this ship? Might as well make sure I wasn't ripped off before we get too far towards the Grand Line, eh?"

"No worries." he said to Lume, before turning to his captain.

 

"Aye, let us see what we have... I do not really need much... Just a big enough spot with shade, and I be good. That, and food, I guess." he said, flying up a bit to get a better view of their new ship.

 

"A bit bigger than the last one... Maybe I can finally stretch out as much as I want while sleepin'..."
