Olaf looks at the Grandmaster and shakes his head.

"Yeah lady? I am dead too, you dont see Draco doing what you did....granted, I dont really pay THAT much attention to him."

Asator oogles the flamed belch and laughs loudly.

"Ali you are really a brother in arms...or is it sister? Would it be too much to ask for a hug?" Asator asks, feeling happier than he ever did. 

"Humph hanks for making me feel wanted ass," Draco said to his friend but with in his red eyes held loneliness. The same loneliness that kept him from showing other's the Dracomancer way. What a way to die out. It was like his flame was not even an inferno but now The fire of his life is spent and guttering. Loneliness that is what is killing Draco.

Asator hugs Ali and chuckles as her wings tickle his skin.
"This is great! Do you want to do more bonding?" He asks.
Asator finishes the last of the turkey leg and begins to pick his teeth with a sliver of the bone.

"She is in your amulet isn't she?" Draco asked as he smiled  slightly. "Yes you have to become what you have hunted for so long," Draco said as he looked at the lass. "But first I want to heard what you propose to me?" Draco asked as he leaned into his hands. "I know that's sarcasm Olaf. Now as I was saying what business do you have with me Lilly Osiris?"

"Oh....I see. You have a new girl in here everyday now and you forget about your ol pal, Olaf. Are you gonna knock the Grandmaster out and undress her like you did with Zefira? You know back in the good old days you let your words do the talking, not the drugs." Olaf said with a hint of sadness. 
He Flew over to the Grandmaster and sighed.
"Maybe the Grandmaster will be my new friend."

"I was thinking we could walk around town...see if theres anything exciting going on." He said.
Asator looked back at Ali's wing and frowned. He didnt want her flying just yet, but at the same time he didnt want to tell her what to do.

 "Well, mostly what I do now is read, I used to go exploring and I found some amazing thing... but I can't really do that now, because I was put under watch by a captain." Shadow said, starting to look slightly sad. Tenebae looked away from Zefira when she looked at him.

"Well, I am that captain. I was sent to oversee some Dragon Riders. I only see one of you, so I either have the wrong group or we're missing one. As for the whole exploring thing, why dont we go exploring together?" Zefira says.
Zefira stands next to Raali and looks up at the sky.
"Unless of course, you want to finish up on your reading."

"I have read this 13 times... I would love to go exploring" Shadow said with a smile as she showed the book she was reading. On the cover was some strange symbols imprinted on to it. Tenebae got up and walked over to them once he heard the word 'Exploring', his spines began to lower. Shadow looked at Tenebae and smiled.

Zefira looks at the cover, unable to make out what the symbol on it was.
"Never seen a symbol like that before. Course, I dont read that many books." Zefira gets on Raali and looks at Shadow and Tenebrae.
"How about you lead the way? I dont explore all that much...just lay around on Raali and glide about. I find it a good time to collect your thoughts."

Shadow climbed onto Tenebae's back and said "Its an old symbol, its the only written language I can read" She said before looking at Tenebae and saying "now where did we leave off?" Tenebae looked south and said "We were last at a cave trying to move the boulder that was blocking the entrance. Hopefully now with help we can move it"

The remaining officers of the Praeses Ordinis seemingly synchronized as their heads turned to the healer from Sana. There were small subtle nods only the train eye can detect as one of the Praesul finally spoke after keeping silent, “How would you like to be part of a hunt?”

Then the second Praesul added in, breaking her silent watch, “Worry not of taking part of spilling minor blood.” She smiled after ending her short speech as if trying to reassure the healer that she won’t have to fight.


“No death will be caused from this…” the first Praesul continued, waving his hand dismissingly, as if dismissing the notion of death for this hunt. “A hunt for dragon to learn from, to study its anatomy, without much damage done to the dragon we’ll capture.”

The air was cool, there was barely any wind to flutter the flags around, and there were the clear skies. It would have been an average normal day with perfect weather. Captain Frank would be patrolling the great walls of Fracia, reprimanding any slackers. Sadly, today was beyond an average day for Captain Frank or the besieged city of Fracia.
Indeed it was barely any normal day as the Siege of Fracia had took off a day ago as imperialist forces assaulted the city without warning. By sheer luck or espionage, the loyalist managed to send an extra one-thousand from a nearby fort to aid in the defense. The goal of the defenders were simple, to survive till reinforcements from the Teutonic Union could arrive the save the besieged Fracia.

(Some information for the crossbolt—am I putting way too much information for this? Yes I am!)

The sieging forces were using trebuchets to ballistas as they continually hammer at the large and thick walls of Fracia. It was also an excellent occasion to use the crossbolt, an “upgraded” version of the crossbow. Much like its ancestor using bolts powdered by tensed strings to create massive amounts of penetrating power that outmatches a bow. Except for this occasion, it used an upgraded frame and string to hand the more massively raw power of the pseudo-bolt. Indeed, the standard bolt was replaced with metal compartments instead of solid wood or even metal at times. The head being slimmer while increasing in width and length as it continued backwards to create a pyramid shaped head, the tip faced toward the enemy. Then, the end compartment was filled with blackpowder and the front tipped with acidic contents for this occasion.

To put the least of using this new technology in relative safety of the great walls was a good opportunity. Most of the one-thousand reinforcements carried two crossbolts, and quad-triple the ammunition in order to supply the defenders and to see its effectiveness. In this situation, one must note, is the use of the light version of the crossbolt. Despite that, the effective was astounding as the defenders were able to hold off yesterday’s assault with minimum losses caused by either range-based attacks or siege weaponry.

Olaf sighs and hangs his head.

"Not everyone ca handle the body conversion. I've read up on the ritual. It could kill you," Draco said as he looked at the woman "I've lived as long as you have. I'm considered young by Dracomancer's standards which is 22," Draco said as he looked at her. "So you would be considered young also," he said. "hatred is a poison. Poison we all gladly swallow,"

"Who knows, maybe there is treasure or a secret society of cave people."

"Lets get going and find out!" Shadow said before Tenebae flew up and turned to the south. He looked back at Zefira and Raali before flying forward and in the direction of the cave. He looked at the ground below making sure there was nothing that could harm them, the spines on the top of his head began to stick up slightly.

Zefira smiles at Shadow's excitement and takes to the skies with Raali. She follows behind Shadow taking notice of the scenery.
"Wherever this cave is, the journey there is beautiful. I dont think I ever went this way before." Zefira says.
Raali lets out a huff and follows closely to Tenebrae.

I considered it for a while after I lost my friend, but then I decided it was a bad idea for some reason... I don't remember why. Hatred is necessary, hatred keeps alive, but when it goes overboard people can only suffer."

Ali begins to slowly walk around, getting used to the feeling of her new friend riding on her back, "As soon as I am well enough I'm taking you flying... It feels like nothing else in the world... It's the only place where I felt free..."
Cassandra whispers, "I... I don't know what to say... To agree would be to condone the hunting of a living creature, but to say no would be to give up on the research opportunity of a lifetime... I... I must accept, but only on the condition that the capture will performed humanely." She says, her voice quivering and trying to stay on a single pitch long enough to seem determined.

 "The cave is not much farther" Shadow said as she looked back to Zefira. Tenebae saw the cave and flew lower. He landed and Shadow got off of his back. "We are here" Tenebae said as he walked up to the rock. Shadow put her hand onto the boulder that was blocking it and said "this is it"

Asator looked down and felt like a giant. He chuckled a bit as he imagined wearing a crown and his enemies bowing down to him and Ali. Asator soon snapped out of his daydream when Ali mentioned flight.
"I'll do whatever you want, Ali. Just let your wing heal a bit more...for me?" He asks.

Zefira followed Shadow's lead. She landed Raali across from Tenebrae and got off his back. Zefira walks up to the boulder and glides her hand along its surface.
"Lets move this big rock and get to this cave." Zefira said.

Ali smiles at whatever Asator's thinking of, then nods, "I'll do it for you, my friend... What's it like being a human? You don't seem to be as hateful as my old master, but you seemed angry at him just because he was there..."

 

Lily nods, "Alright, let's get started then. Lead the way Draco, I'm ready to do whatever I'm supposed to do for this... She turns to Olaf, "Hello there, are you feeling down or something?"

"Well lets get to..." Before Shadow even finished her sentence Tenebae had already started pushing. It started to tilt but wouldn't roll. "...work. them..." Shadow finished and walked over to a patch of grass and dragged out a large piece of lumber. She dug a small ditch under the boulder and placed the piece of lumber into the ditch and used it like a lever.

"Being human? Well its ok, i suppose. I live for battle, but I hate to see abuse of any kind." Asator chuckles, "I know I'm contradicting myself here but let me try to explain it better...I love to fight against my enemies for the thrill of the fighting. When I see someone being bullied or hurt with no cause, I get mad. One sided battles are despicable. Cruelty to majestic beings is downright disgusting." Olaf begins to think of a painful childhood memory.
A memory where Asator befriended a rabbit and took care of it. One day Asator was pushed to the ground and had to watch as bullies tore the rabbits limbs off one by one.
