Chivalry Knight 161 June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 I envy the aspect of sleep, Fail proof, Soothing and swift. To some sleep is only a burden, to others it is a gift. Sleep has the power, to put even the strongest men to there backs. Allowing their thoughts to drift, Forcing them to lose their tracks. We greet our pillows and sheets, and our comfortable beds. We lie and eagerly wait, for the illusions to bestow our heads. Hate is suddenly gone, Sorrow and Pain alike. All soothed by sleep, under the wake of night. I open my eyes and wonder, when will I sleep again? I look at clock and gasp, the time had already struck ten. Sleep can cause you to be late, All the worry and eager return. Now it is inevitable, your boss will surely be stern. You return from work late, your bones and muscles ache. Again you lie on your bed and wait, for those cheerful thoughts of fake. 2 My OC's https://docs.google.com/document/d/15sDqH3g2VQ3gyMOmV64MxQgwYGuQ4fEBLtLjmetFxBQ/edit JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!!! Justin_Case001 4,892 June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 Hearth's Warming Eve Hearth's Warming Eve, I used to know a guy named Steve. My favorite pony's name is Applejack, I think I'm about to have a heart attack. When Pinkie Pie begins to jest, Nopony else says a word in protest. If Twilight tries her very best, Nopony else will have a chance to rest. I can't think of a line for Rarity, Rainbow, or Fluttershy, So I'm moving on before I start to cry. I knew not of this pony called Alicorn. Saetan Daemon SaDiablo spoke his mind with Lorn. Nothing warms the soul like a bowl of soup. This little pony done flew the coop. I'm a fan of My Little Pony; you might even call me a Brony, "We must deal with this thang," says Mr. Mohney. Mock and shun this poor old pony if you please, For soon he will be imprisoned within the Hecatonchires. This poem sounds as if it's read by Zecora, They told me I could be anything, so I became Anti-Form Sora. The Grustrag Three will silence the lamb, Gimmie s'more a that sweet, Zap Apple Jam! On this warmest of holidays, let us rejoice in friendship, Little Johnny-Slow-Poke loves his Fun Valley Flip. We're all of us ponies, no matter which hat we choose to adorn, Let's have a round of applause for every earth pony, pegasus, and unicorn! A Grineer Tragedy I always wanted a Grineer balloon, Just one to keep from the Informer event. I killed as many as I could, of course. But the Lotus said it was risky, We needed to destroy them quickly, And we didn't have much time. And even if we did, it wasn't safe When there was a large security force. I only played one Grineer mission, But all the enemies I ever saw were there. There were Lancers and Rollers and Seekers, But the kind I liked best were the Informers. And I don't see why the Lotus couldn't have said, That maybe I could keep one. But she didn't. I suppose now nobody cares, They've all got their Snipetron Vandals. I'm a Grand Master now. I've got a lot of credits, I've got a rank 30 frame, I got no one to tell me how to play this game. Plenty of Informers, but somehow, Well, you know the rest... IridscentNionios 1,420 June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 Not so much a poem as in an anthem. I made a changeling national anthem here goes..."We know ourselves by the voice...The Voice that unites allThe Voice that fills the heartOur Ears listen to the plightThe love for which we must fightWe know ourselves from the flame...The flame that burns the fake skinTo the emerald spark we are akinThe flame that burns within we holdThe one, united, ancient, bold.We know ourselves from the quest...The quest to purge our taintThis journey we bravely takeTo sublimate the savage soulTo release our form of old."And there you have it... something i made in approximately half an hour you could say... with some breaks to read some online comics. A changeling anthem... I wanted to mention three things in it... first the "hive mind" or "Soul Union" as i call it... Second the transformations, Third the Purpose or at least what i think their purpose is. Do you think i got that right? OCs Thorough list of all of them here. Lightning Bliss 1,674 June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 Just made this up... I call it.. Brony Fandom I stand in my work place, pain in my heels, Lonely I work, customers don't know how it feels. Early morning to late evening, dishes and cleaning, There are times I feel like I'm the only one working. The staff can be bland, they don't talk or mingle, They do known it's important, to be a team, not single? They aren't my types, friendships are so phony, Because they are nothing like me, for I am a brony. Woman I am, I prefer not pegasister. It's long and not recongized, so brony is better. I relate with bronies, they seem more cheerful then most, They laugh and play, but I'm not here to boast. At the end of the day, working hard and long, I come home to my computer, and play a brony song. Tombstone, Black Gryphon, many artists I'll start, I'm really attatched to the song called "You'll Play You're Part" Though in my mind another day is just around the bend, I can trust that when I come home, I will be able to mend. For a brony I am, music, artwork, my joy and thensome, And love for my husband, and the brony fandom. I'm just a silly little alicorn, trying to get by in the fandom ^^ The Lightning Bliss Show Lightning Bliss DevianArt
CuriousPony 157 December 26, 2014 Share December 26, 2014 Tornado Skies turn a sickly gray and green, All citizens see and are keen, Quickly take shelter underground, When screaming sirens loudly sound, For hither comes the beast of beasts, On buildings in the town it feasts, It wildly rages everywhere, Hurling trucks and cars through the air, And trees fly away one by one, The monster, though, is far from done, Some places get a debris bath, Others are spared from horrid wrath, Dust covers all, no one can see, One can only hear And guess what Might be, Ripping, Zapping, Bangs And Cries, Are Like the Monster's Lullabies, The beast's rage Changes to a creep, It heads into the sky to sleep, Leaving behind an awful mess, What once was there, one can but guess, The townspeople come out to find, A few buildings were left behind, Some homes had had the best of luck, The beast passed by, they were not struck, But most were left with misty eyes, Sad memories, and gray green skies. White Picket Fence I stand behind the picket fence, It glistens perfect white,I stand behind the picket fence,From morning until night,I'm sure the fence seems very nice,When you're on the outside,But I am stuck inside the fence,It's here I'm forced to hide,You see, one white board at a time,I built this fence up more and more, Cuz I was shy, but now I find,I did not build it with a door,Now how can I find my way out,Will I ever be free?People outside see just the fence, The fence, and none of me,I call, I yell, but nothing seems To go unmuffled through,Between the boards, I wave my hand,That's all that I can do,Please tear these boards down, help me please!I'm tired of the suspense, There's more to me, I know you'll see,Inside the picket fence. I haven't written poetry in forever... but here are a few I did back in high school that people seemed to like. 4 Me in a nutshell.
SparklingSquirrels 21,345 December 26, 2014 Share December 26, 2014 (edited) The closest thing I have to poetry is the one I made with a group of friends in seventh grade for a school assignment: "Where have all the people gone? Their doors are closed, their curtains drawn The howl of hounds is absent still While no one's present at the mill I've traveled far from my own place but my family is gone, without a trace" We never finished it for some reason Edited December 26, 2014 by JingleSwirls 1 ֍֎֍֎
Ziggy + Angel + Rain 11,302 December 26, 2014 Share December 26, 2014 (edited) I write a good deal of poetry. A perhaps disproportionate amount of love poems as of late. Giving by Siegfried Danzinger ThenThat nightAn angel, blueDid steal my heartAnd proceeded to fill itWith treasures I had long forgottenDreams and things much greater and strongerThough silent and calming and pleasantly warm insideIt is impossible now to deny; inextricable and insurmountableInfinite and intangible yet, somehow, irresistibly soft to the touch The Very Words Words are my daggersMy shields and my swordsI can fell falsehoodsWith nothing but wordsWords are my fireAnd should it burn brightMine can burn bridgesOr set things arightWords are my wisdomMy folly as wellWere they a secretI swear I'd not tellWords can be comfortAnd poisons, dismissDrive off a shadow;Remember a kissWords are my windowsAnd through them I seeWorlds without limits; And that's where I'll be Edited December 26, 2014 by Ziggy Belongs to RD 1 "It uses the faculty of what you call imagination.
