For me, basically anything horror/supernatural (Undertaker, Kane, Mankind, Crow!Sting, Raven, Boogeyman, Wyatt Family, etc.).

The horror/supernatural gimmick was always the kind I looked forward to whether it be Undertaker(my fav. wrestler), Kane, Boogeyman etc.

 

I'm also a sucker for comedian/joke-like gimmicks like Eddie Guerrero, The Rock, DX, etc.

 

There are a few gimmicks I'd include like the heartthrob or Redneck, but I realize that I only like very few people who use those(HBK and Stone Cold respectively)

I've always thought Sean O'Haire's "Devils advocate" character was brilliant. I love those vignettes. It's a shame the gimmick was abandoned

I tend to like anti heroes like CM Punk shortly before he quit, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and monsters like Brock Lesnar, The Great Khali when they utilized him properly, the Undertaker, Kane, and Mick Foley for the most part as well as quite a few high flyers. In terms of the more recent ones I like the Bad News Barret one as well as WTFery of Stardust and his kickass theme helps too as well of course complimenting Gold Dust quite nicely.
