When Addie asked Shooting what she thought, she smiled. "They were nice. I think Celestia read my mind though..." Shooting said. She kept herself clung to Addie's back. She rested her head on Addie's back, almost feeling like she wanted to take a nap. She knew she couldn't though.

"Well...since she's the highest Alicorn, she could read minds deeply." Addie said as she turned around. She then made her pegasus wings appear with her magic. "So...ready to go back to Ponyville? Or do you want to stay here for a little longer?" Addie asked Shooting.

"I'm ready to go back home mommy." Shooting said. She didn't like how Celestia could read minds, it was weird. She held on tight to Addie's back, a safe protector to her. Shooting looked around Canterlot again and then put her head back down on Addie's back. She smiled.

Addie took to the skies and flew back to Ponyville. She flew slow again so that Shooting could take a look at the view. "Still a little amazed that Celestia could read your mind? As a unicorn...you could also read minds, but it takes practice. You can also do telepathy." Addie stated.

"Yeah... But it's a little weird." Shooting said. "Mommy, what's telepathy?" Shooting asked her mother as they flew. She looked at the view and then went back to her sleeping position on Addie's back, even though she wasn't sleeping. She kinda wanted to, but wasn't drained quite yet.

"Yeah...it is...and telepathy is the ability to speak to someone with your mind, without actually having to say a word and move your mouth...like this. "Hey Shooting." Addie said through telepathy to Shooting, without moving her mouth. "Did you hear me through telepathy?" Addie asked.

Shooting was processing it when Addie talked to her in her head. When Addie asked if it worked, she nodded her head. "Yes mommy. But... How far away do they have to be for it to work?" Shooting asked. She wanted to at least try and contact her old mother. She wanted to at least try and contact her one last time.

"It doesn't matter, as long as you can visualize that pony who you want to talk to...any distance will work. You can even talk to ponies from another world even with telepathy!" Addie said with a giggle as she continued to fly. She then landed back in Ponyville and slowly strolled to her house.

"What if they've changed?" Shooting asked. She thought about one more dilemma. "Does it take a lot of magic mommy?" Shooting asked. Those were her biggest questions yet. Once they landed, she got off Addie's back and held her mother's hoof. She liked her mother and was clingy.

"Telepathy takes almost no magic. Everypony can do it, but only unicorns focus on it because they use many mind tricks." Addie stated as she continued to walk. "I hope your old parents have their sweet personality when you were their daughter..." Addie said.

"But... But what if they've changed what they look like?" Shooting asked again. "I was supposed to have parentS?" Shooting asked, emphasizing the 's' too much. She only remembered her mother, who always looked stressed. She wasn't aware she even had a father. He moved away when she was too young to remember.

"Hmmmm...." Addie thought as she entered her door. She would be very heartbroken if Shooting saw her parents, but they no longer liked her or needed her. "It's worth a try." She said as she closed the door behind her and laid down, snuggling Shooting lovingly.

Shooting smiled and snuggled Addie back. Shooting thought about what her mother used to look like, unsure if she changed and tried to say calmly, "Hello mamma? It's Shooting." Without crying. She snuggled into Addie's side. She used to always call her old mother 'mamma'.

Addie cuddled Shooting lovingly, so that she wouldn't cry. "I hope she responds..." Addie thought to herself. She thought about if she would have to give Shooting back up to her old mother, which would make her very sad. A tear fell from her eye and landed on Shooting's fur.

Shooting hugged Addie. Shooting felt when Addie's tear fell onto her coat. She looked at Addie. "Don't cry. I love you mommy." Shooting said and hugged Addie. She nuzzled herself into Addie's fur. Addie was quite soft and comfortable to Shooting. She actually did love Addie as a mother.

Addie just hugged Shooting tightly when she said that she love her. "I love you too...my little star..." Addie said as now a tear of joy landed right on Shooting's fur. Addie thought about if Shooting met her old mother, whether she would still love her as her adoptive mother.

Shooting cuddled her a bit and brought the blanket over shakily and slowly, hitting the ground and almost the ceiling a few times, and not to mention the counter too before bringing it over. She put it around her neck like a cape and ran around laughing and playing. She fell down, then got up and resumed her running around and laughing.

Addie took chase and roared cutely like a bear. "I'm gonna getcha! I'm gonna getcha!" She teased as she slowly caught up to Shooting, moving some things out of the way to get them more space to play chase. "I'm gonna getcha!" Addie teased as again as she was in reaching range.

Shooting screamed fakely, as if Addie was actually bear and she was going to be caught. She kept running and tripping occasionally. She ran the other way past Addie and kept running around the living room area they were playing in. She purposely slowed down so Addie could catch her just to see what she would do.

Surprisingly, Addie pulled a backflip and went the other way towards Shooting. She then caught up to her and grabbed Shooting playfully, roaring like a bear. She then flipped Shooting on her back and began to tickle her belly playfully. "Coochy-coo!" Addie said with a giggle.

When Addie caught her and started tickling her, she was laughing up a storm. She was really ticklish and was swatting the air. "S... St hahahaha... Op!" Shooting said, trying to say stop but couldn't very well due to her tickling punishment. She kept laughing and laughing.

Addie lightened up on her tickling but kept going. Shooting's laugh was just so adorable. She then stopped a few seconds later and then laid on her back. She then placed Shooting on her chubby and soft belly and began to stroke her mane and fur lovingly, giggling softly.

Shooting was still giggling afterwards. She got really tired so she fell asleep on Addie's belly. She was sucking on her hoof and snuggled herself on Addie. She smiled, even though she was sucking on her hoof. She hugged Addie with her back hooves and her hoof she wasn't sucking on.

Addie started to stroke Shooting's mane lovingly, as she let out a yawn herself. "Mommy's tired too..." Addie said as she slowly started to drift to sleep. The last thing she did was gather some magic and made her pegasus wings appear. She then wrapped them around Shooting, before drifting into a deep sleep.

Shooting cuddled Addie as she slept and smiled. She liked the pegasus wings Addie wrapped around her, they felt embracing, loving, warm. Not at all like how she lived before Addie took her in but after her old mother left. Shooting was having a nightmare and softly cried in her sleep, hugging Addie as right as she could.
