Equestria Girls, meh

I didn't like Equestria girls at all, its "My Litttle Pony" Not "My Little Freaky-Half-Human-Half-Pony"

Some of the ponies in human form really freaked me out, like Rainbowdash, come on, blue skin? Or Pinkiepie with pink skin, the worst is Twilight, PURPLE SKIN. Its horrible D:

I almost forgot Spike, he should have been a lizard or something, not a freaky dog!

Well, it's is kind of nice to have SOMETHING MLP related during the hiatus between season 4 and 5, but on the other hand it does take much of the originality out of the whole "pony" thing I do agree with that.

 

Edit: Oh yea and Spike is a dog, LMFAO!

It wasn't a masterpiece, but it wasn't awful in my opinion, just average. But it got the job done to lessen the wait for season 4

Yes it was a good filler but then I was afraid all of season 4 would be humans instead of ponies

I had the perfect picture for this, but I deleted it when I deleted all my non-Flutters MLP pictures. I'll just describe it.

It's from Lesson Zero, when Twilight is saying "clock is ticking, Twilight. Clock. Is. Ticking!" or something. At the last "ticking" part, the picture was taken. The caption said "I missed the new episode of My Little Humans"

I see it more of an experiment. I'm pretty sure that every single brony have once thought "What if the mane 6 were humans?"

 

Hasbro delivered, failed, and probably learned from it.

 

I don't know, I quite enjoyed the movie if I watch it as EQG and not MLP.

 

Also, Rainbow Rocks will at least keep me busy until Season 5. I sure hope its more polished than EQG was.

I actually kinda liked Equestria Girls. I thought it was going to be the end of the world when I first heard about it, but it was actually pretty good.

 

I would still prefer a movie focusing on the PONIES however.

They sure didn't learned from it because EQG2 is on its way. And I have no high hopes the quality will be better...

But it fills the waiting between two seasons of MLP.

I found EQ to be okay.

 

Nothing particularly stands out, but nothing really made me scream out "Oh My Gods, help my fingers are falling off!" either.

Personally, I loved Equestria Girls. I felt that the movie maintained the same spirit the show has, and that's what's most important to me. That being said, I was really skeptical I'd like it when I first heard about it, but I ended up loving it.

 

I'd be upset if Equestria Girls was slated to replace Friendship is Magic, but as long as that doesn't happen I don't have a problem with it at all. 

 

I do love the Friendship is Magic show itself more though.

What kind of movie could they make for the ponies though? And I'm pretty sure the pony skin tones were put in so parents didn't complain about racism.

 

It wasn't perfect, neither is the show, the show has terrible episodes here and then *coughcough The Mysterious Mare do Well coughcough* (I hated that episode so much, I couldn't watch it all the way, thats not the way you get a friend to stop boasting.) But would you have rather had no movie while waiting or the movie as a filler? 

 

(no offense to anypony here) When someone says that they hate MLP, you start cursing at them.

 

When someone says that they hate EQG, everyone agrees. I liked it, it was a nice movie, and not as creepy as the Monster High movies, despite the fact the girls had pink & blue skin.

Yeah, the movie wasn't good at all. Maybe it could've been. Who knows? It was a waste of time for the writers and everyone else involved.
