Little did they know that all of them were betrayed.

For in secret, Silverhoof made yet another ring, a master ring to control them all.

In it he poured all his malice, and will to live. As long as the ring endures, so too the spirit of Silverhoof endures. For the ring can only be unmade in the fires of Mount Kaboom, deep in the heart of Boardor, home of the warlike boars.

 

It was a Diamond dog that found it, and kept it safe deep in a cave. But the Ring percieved its time had come, and it abandoned the Dog. where it was discovered by the most unlikely hoof of all...a pony called Trixie. It fit on her horn nicely amd imediately she was possessed by the spirit of Silverhoof.

 

So now, burning with an evil desire to dye Fluttershy's mane and tail black, and a deeper desire to make a shishkabob of all Fluttershy's pets, Trixie/Silverhoof turned from the wild and made their way back to pony lands...
