It seems in light of a revelation I have learned, this will be a private RP. People are still quite free to apply, and I will try to fit them in my group, but I cannot fit them all, so sorry if you don't make the cut. However, I will still find you a role in the RP.

You can join the RP, but while I said I would take four OCs out of Canterlot, I can make space for a few more. Are you able to assign yourself a starting position?

I was thinking of starting myself out with Spitfire (Since my OC Is great friends with Spitfire.)

The revelation I learned is that if my RP is open, then I'll end up having guys jumping in from all directions, and I can't be having that. This is a zombie apocalypse, you see, and I want to control who survives and who dies. Besides, the Rage virus is a deadly rampant thing; hardly anypony could have escaped it. Therefore, if the RP is made private, I can have more of a hold on who joins the fray. 

 

Sure, Spitfire can join, but only if her character is not the same as in canon. More like she was in The Best Night Ever and in Wonderbolts Academy; a team leader, but also professional, honorable, comprehensive and nice. Not somepony who is corrupt to the point she would leave someone to die. That is not the Spitfire I know. But sure, she can join.

By the way, Dusk Shade and Shadowking, I like your opening entries, however I should brief you that we are beginning the RP the day after the attack, so if you could edit your posts to stay with the storyline please, thanks.

We're all starting in Canterlot. Either I find you or you find me, it doesn't matter, we escape to wherever is safest

Yeah, I saw that. That's fine by me. Your post is good, however we're starting the day after the attack, when Canterlot is deserted and in ruins and most of the populace is dead or infected. Please edit your post to stick with the story, thanks.

Great stuff guys! With this being my first RP, I'm very pleased. The idea gathered steam faster than I thought. Now, Once I get an idea of who can post earliest, I will do up a posting order. To those who haven't posted yet, don't panic. You still have 2 days before I begin inquiry.

But what if my OC made them himself? I dont want to be an asshole about it... I may aswell ask now if he could only have those two guns? No other weapon is allowed for him. But, if you don't want him to have any guns, then i will edit my post tomorrow....

 

Plus I am being fair on resources aswell.

Well.......I do like the idea where he made them himself, but it wouldn't be fair on the rest of us, unless you could conjure up more firearms for us to use.

 

Or!...........I could add an element into the RP where we have to raid Canterlot Castle for weapons made under a top secret experiment. How about you make your OC a former test subject of these new weapons who knew about the experiment and decided to tell us?

 

And of course, what do you guys think? Should we include guns in the RP?

That sounds interesting, i just hope we find a big gun thinking M134 Minigun lol, but firebolt and damonater, what would power these guns, or are they going to be conventional weaponry?

I'm a bit reluctant because in the move, Jim, Hannah and Selena went through most of the movie without ever using firearms, but I guess this isn't the movie.

Look, i promise I wont be "OP OR GODLIKE" with these weapons. I feel like I have ruined your RP slightly by adding guns... But that is just how my OC is. He made his weapons and bullets from scratch. Hopefully this can still be one epic RP

Oh, I have no doubts about that. The problem I have here is trying to get us to be ordinary citizens who survived the chaos and had to use whatever we had at our disposal. Then you came along with your PPSH and Colt M1911 intending to rack up a mindblowingly awesome headshot count while I knocked out an infected with a wooden plank. Fortunately, I'm not a dictator, so I won't force you to not use guns. All I want to ensure is that the playing field is fair and that we're all still in danger of being infected.

 

In fact, come to think of it, the British soldiers in 28 Days Later were heavily armed, yet they were still overwhelmed and infected. Makes you think, doesn't it?

I kinda like the idea of being vulnerable off the bat, and not having some super awesome epic weapon to start off with.
