web Greeny Phatom

So, upon web surfing I found a movie for a web cartoon called Greeny Phatom

 

 

If you look on that whole channel, there are more of those kind of web toons. 

 

I don't know what to even make of that. What's with them insisting it was made by companies like Sony Wonders?

Looks like the same thing you'd get if you youtube searched banjo gyro or ilovejesus.

And there is a growing fanbase for odd toons with a almost VHS homemovie quality. It fits right into the odd old video craze going around right now (this craze is pretty evident if you go to creppypasta.com or /x/).

 

And the sony wonders thing is again, just there for effect. They add in a vhs era sony wonders logo to add to the oddness factor they are going for.

 

 

oddball toons seem to be a rising fad, as evidenced by jimmy nutron and "shrek is love, shrek is lyfe".

Yeah, I mean the story of this animation has great animation, art that had much thought for through the revolutionary use of Photoshop 1.1 on the original Mac OS, music which took one whole whopping hour of work in a MIDI composer, and the story is just so awesome it makes you hold on to your seat, with characters that make you feel for and I nearly cried at the part where his toy was taken away. 

Ten outta freaking ten. Masterpiece. I'm sure IGN would be all about this!
