She looked at him instanly knowing who it was,"Um yes sorry."She said moving out of the way so he could get through.She looked down afraid he was going to possibly snipe at her for being here so late at night.She was scared of down there and knew it was dangerous.

"Thank you" midnight said, walking by. He descended the elevator. Once he reached the bottom he saw the supervisor "miss dash" as some of the workers called her, watching fillys and colts alike getting thrown into the awful machine. He crept up behind her and said "hello there" in the creepyest voice he could make "HE'SINCHARGEHERE" the rainbow dash said quickly and held out a terrified looking stallion in front of her, she peered around the pegasus she was holding in front of her and said

"oh, it's just you. What do you want this time? Money so you keep quiet about this place? I swear if I had a bit for every time you've blackmailed us with that... I would have payed them all to you already"

 

"I don't want money this time rainbow, I want to speak to you about a first year that may have come down here earlier today"

 

"oh, ya, I remember one of these guys telling me about her. Don't you worry though, were firing up the adult machine right now"

 

"that's not what I wanted to talk about"

 

"then what?" "I want you to spare her, she won't talk, you can tell that she's too traumatized to relive it by speaking about this place"

 

"really? Too traumatized to talk about us to... I'll think about it"

 

"If you decide not to I swear, I will describe every last DETAIL about this place to CELESTIA HERSELF!"

 

"Okay okay, we'll keep her around"

 

"Thank you"

 

Midnight returned to the elevator and ascended to the main factory, "I think I just saved your life" he said to Lexi when he got to the top. He hopped down the hall in joy similar to pinky pie and flew home

She looked back at the elevator then looked around seeing no pony else she decided to stay a little bit longer, she needed the quiet anyways.She was shocked when he said he saved her life, she shook her head and sat down.Staring up at the stars shimmering above.She cried for a moment then wiped a tear away, walking to the edge of the cloud then flying home.She looked around before snuggling in her bed and falling asleep.

A young pony - a filly in her early teens that was small enough to look a couple years younger - was sitting on the floor, watching the machine work. Years of living in the factory had messed with her mind. She'd been disgusted when she first came, but now, she took pleasure in seeing numerous fillies and colts get gruesomely crushed. She wore a broad grin and laughed whenever she saw a pony she didn't like - based on appearance - get thrown into the machine. It was just one of those nights where she couldn't get enough of it all.
She was happily enjoying the "show" when she heard a familiar voice shout a rushed "HE'SINCHARGEHERE." Recognizing it as the supervisor, she got up and started flying over to the mare. As she approached, she saw a stallion trotting away, heading for the elevator. She'd seen him around before and knew about his blackmailing, but had never caught his name. 
Ignoring the stallion, she flew over to Rainbow Dash and alighted on her back, completely casual. 
"Is he blackmailing you again? Man, he likes bits. Why haven't you thrown him in the adult machine yet?" she asked, her tone slightly patronizing. She was obviously younger than the mare, but she still liked to bug her with that tone.

OOC-Storm Strafe never leaves the factory as he likes to keep tabs on the place.

 

Storm strafe heads back to the cafeteria for something to eat and simply grabbed an apple. Enjoyong the emptyness of the factory he casually whips up a storm with his wings to piss off the rainbow workers.

Midnight went home and fell asleep.

 

Down in the rainbow factory many of the workers were not allowed the privilege of sleeping more than two hours, they had to stay up all the time to operate the machines OR ELSE. None of them really knew what OR ELSE ment but they knew that it definitely wasn't good so they continued working, rarely sleeping, eating or even using the bathroom.

Cloud Swirl had been sleeping for some time now. the day had been long, and she was tired. Still, she tossed a bit in her sleep. She'd seen a younger mare near the Elevator, and then later that evening the mare had tears in her eyes and looked traumatized. While she felt sorry for the mare, it was hard to feel sympathetic when she didn't know what was going on. Her dreams showed her frightening possibilities for what lay on the other floor of the factory.

Midnight dreamed of taking the flying exam when he was just a colt,

 

 

he passed but... His best friend didn't. he decided to jump on the back of the "deportation" truck to see were it went, who knew? Maybe he could write to his friend's new address. Once they got to their destination he realized that there was no deportation, he saw him and a group of others get tazered and fall to the ground several times, and finally get put on a conveyer belt and...

 

 

He woke up sweating and breathing heavily right before the supervisor pulled the lever

Lexi tossed and turned when she dreamed of her sister.She saw the scared look on her face fhe crushing noise that came after.She wlke up terrified to sleep aga7n.She looked out towards the factory and thought about how she could save all those ponies that get put in there.She looked down and knew that if she tried she would fail and the punishment would be horrible.

Rainbow dash turned to Dark spectrum "I haven't thrown him in yet because he is one hell of an escape artist, and he hasn't destroyed any of the machines on his monthly vists because he needs this place for blackmail money. Plus I'm too tired to try most of the time"

Dark Spectrum frowned at the mare's response. Rainbow Dash usually became annoyed when she spoke to her like she was speaking down to her. 
Eh, probably just recovering from that scare, she thought as she hopped off the rainbow-haired pony's back, not caring enough to listen to her full answer. Boring.

Midnight woke up early the next morning, he went to the factory and entered his office. He looked out the window as celestia raised the sun. He sat down in his chair. He trotted over to the wall of televisions and turned them all on. It was quite possibly one of the most peaceful mornings he had had in a while
