This is a timeline where Princess Cadence never got out of the crystal caves along with twilight, so prepare for the story from then on to be obliterated.

 

Story: After the siege on Canterlot was a success, Crysalis took over the entirety of Equestria. The ponies that remained had to fight for their own freedom and the country.

How Changelings work on this rp:

Changelings find food by seeking a large love line between two ponies. A love line is a colored line that shows how ponies feel to one another. Changelings can transform into any pony, but if lacking in food, the changelings become less powerful, and the disguises wear off, as do their magic. Changelings have evolved to summon crystal at will, thanks to King Sombra.

Description: Gear is outgoing, he will follow any command given to him unless it will result in certain death to him or his crew. He is very secretive, he will hold a secret to his grave if he has to.

Appearance: Typical changeling. Only difference is, his horn is so short you can hardly see it if you're not looking for it, and when he feels a negative emotion strongly, a thick, dark, purple-blue liquid (rumoured to be changeling blood) slowly trickles out of the holes in his hooves.

Description: Short-tempered, rash, and emotional, Sorrowshine has drawn the short stick in life ever since his mother was dragged out of his house and shot by the totalitarian police when he was 5. Since then, he has harboured a deep and personal hatred of the Changeling Empire and everything it stands for. In public, he does his best to make himself unnoticeable and keeps to himself, although when with those who haven proven themselves to him, he does nothing to restrain himself.

Description: was never too serious until the changelings invaded, had some martial arts training before the changelings and ever since has become a black belt in karate and blue belt in Kung fu. due to a strange accident at his former workplace, the weather factory, has gained the ability to manipulate lightning (just think of something like sparks from skyrim, or lightning bending in avatar. Except with a pony)
