I know I've seen one around here before, but I'm curious as to how many people here do animation or even have a job in it. If you are an animator, what kind of animation do you do and what software or hardware do you use? Do you work on your own, in a group, or as a part of a studio? Any tips or advice for beginners?

Sweet. What kind of tablet do you use and are you studying at an art school or something like that or on your own?

I have Flash myself. I hope to become a professional animator someday but for now I just use it to create random scribbles and doodles of animation that I almost never save. Studying studio arts in school.

I'm actually planning on getting photoshop soon, it's supposed to be better-suited for traditional animation than flash. Cool, I might go to an art school at some point but I'm mostly planning on just teaching myself.

I am an animator and I use paint.net and paint tool sai  as well as pencil (animation software)
