Diamond Tiara: Why the Hatred?

A lot the characters you mentioned have a comedic element to them, or a certain sillyness along with bit of stupidity. Those qualities let people give them sympathy. But Diamond Tiara isn't stupid, nor does she have a sense of silllyness. She seemed like the stereotypical girl bully that no one can stand. I think that's the main reason for her hate. We also never got a back story on her until just recently. Heck, we didn't even get one of those moments where it's her reflecting on her actions or being sad alone. It was just her pouting and walking away.

 

However, now that we know about her miserable homelife that is filled with unreachable goals for a child we can sympathize for her. We know and understand her true feelings, so the hatred should subside fairly quickly. It'll always be there because of the first 4 and a half seasons, but at least from this point on people will be much more accepting of her.

 

I'll admit I'm one of those people who now accept her. In fact, I'd love to see some episodes focused on her.
