I heard a thump on the deck and figured that the damn drunk finally was unconscious, and I could think clearly on my main goal, to find and kill the assassin John Case. It was something that could be generally figured out if one cared and also if someone asked i would answer. But the only other on the ship that currently knows is the captain, but in the end dose it matter?

I just stood there looking at the sea around the ship and breathing in the fresh air that was mostly absent in the cities I usually traveled to take care of contracts.

London became quiet and still, only turning her eyes to the moonlit sea. They glanced up to an outcrop of rocks in the distance.

"Edward, get down there and tell everyone to get ready. I need Anne to dock us against those rocks. Get to it." She said sternly before disappearing back into her cabin to get her coat back on.

Edward nodded and wordlessly went off to carry out his orders. Now was the time to make good on his promise.

He quickly found the helmsman and relayed the captain's orders. "Pull up by those rocks there. It's time for us to get to work." He was then off, seeking out the others and informing them of the situation.

Anne had remained at the table, she had been to stunned to move, she drank more and more rum. She had gotten more than she had been prepared for in the captain's story; she had been ready for the crew to have died but not so brutally and senselessly, not while the captain was merely forced to watch and not for there to have been an air Mage. Anne new only one 'Air Mage From Hell' and her instincts screamed that it was Milo's doing but the captain had meet Milo before, did she not use his name to spare Anne some fresh pain? Or was her hate for the man making her place him as any monster that fit his description?

Edward broke her train of thought with orders to the helm. She moved as if in a trace and her thoughts were hazy. Still her skill with the ship was nothing short of mastery; although the commands of dropping the sails and drop anchor left them closer to the rocks than most crews would dare, especially with a ship a malicious as the Thread which wanted nothing more than to slam up against those rocks and be done with it.

"Rocks?" Blake asked curiously. He took a step and 'saw' where they were heading through the miniature lifeforms on the boat's hull. "Oohhh. Rocks. Why are we docking at rocks? There's barely anything there." Blake said, going up to Edward carefully. He knew not to question the first mate but it just struck him as odd.

@@Dji,

Edward turned to him and almost spoke very harshly before he thought better of chewing someone out for what was probably meant as just an honest question. "We're docking there because the captain said so. I don't know about you, but that's all the reason I need.

"Not enough reason for me. But if the Captain wants to dock there ... who am I to judge?" Blake asked rhetorically, smirking as he did. "I just hope the Captain knows what she's doing, is all." Blake said, sensing the ship come to a halt as it was docked at the rocky island.
