Trench got a little angry with and was a bout to say something back. But he thought before he talked, like he always done. And has he thought about what Crimson said and he did have a point. Trench just said. When Femi came out he didn't say anything and listened to what she had to say. He did already had plans to take down Mason after his match with Havoc. But it seemed that Mason had quite a few being who wish him dead.

 

 

Which might make Trench's plan a little easier. He looked back over to Crimson. "I think she's looking for a few allies who could help overthrow Mason and take him down. I think I might be willing to help."

Femi turned to the nurse and nodded to her. Because of the amount of tension and mistrust, she explained what they were doing. "This mare is the enchantress Ruka. She has a very unique ability and is no stranger to faking deaths. As long as Mason doesn't know that I hired her, this should be believable. To be completely honest, I was not sent to kill you, Mason wanted you alive. But I should be able to give him a believable story as to why that wasn't possible."

 

Ruka laid a hoof on the side of Selune's left temple. "Try to relax," she instructed. "This might feel... a little weird."

 

 

 

 

Havoc braced his axe and charged at Mason. Mason did nothing to defend himself. He allowed Havoc to thrust his ax into his chest, then began cutting away at his flesh. Every time Havoc made a new gash, the previous one healed. All Havoc was able to do was tire himself out as he cut away at the regenerating monstrosity. Havoc continued to use everything he had to fight him, but he knew that nothing he did would leave a lasting impact.

 

Mason eventually decided he'd had enough. A tendril shot out from his back and grabbed Havoc's muscular right forearm. He squeezed on it so tightly that the bones in his forearm shattered and he was forced to drop his axe.

Tempest sighed as he watched Crimson and the others from a distance. He wouldn't make himself known unless someone noticed him, since he had returned to the arena once he got his ocarina from his apartment and had remained within the shadows ever since Through their conversation, he could tell who he was probably going to fight, and he wasn't pleased. "Looks like I'll probably be fighting Crimson soon." He thought, as he ran a hoof over his preferred instrument. The bat pony then began to play a song that, to him, inspired hope in those who heard it's melodious tune.

Selune couldn't help but feel tired of all of this. The struggle, the fighting, the inner madness pushing her. It was tiring... she figured her "assistants" would put her in some sort of sleep. It was something she welcomed... a dreamless sleep, a comatose state that would calm her down and make the pain, the fury, the emotions, everything go away.

Selune couldn't help but feel tired of all of this. The struggle, the fighting, the inner madness pushing her. It was tiring... she figured her "assistants" would put her in some sort of sleep. It was something she welcomed... a dreamless sleep, a comatose state that would calm her down and make the pain, the fury, the emotions, everything go away.

 

"I'm ready... let's be done with it."

 

Ruka didn't need to instruct Selune further. She was clearly prepared. Ruka and Selune both were surrounded in a faint red aura that extended from her hooves. This only lasted for about three seconds before Ruka opened her eyes and removed her hooves from Selune's temple.

 

Ruka closed her eyes again and started to transform. Her hair stayed the same length, but became a much darker shade of red. Her silky coat darkened until it was almost pitch black with stripes of white. Her cutie mark, a black, opened eye. And when she opened her eyes again, they were purple instead of green. She must have opened her eyes only to show that they had changed, because she immediately closed them again afterwards.

 

"Equestria is filled with shape-shifters, but Ruka's other ability is what makes her truly unique." Femi said. She pulled a knife out of her silk robe and cut Ruka's throat at the base of the neck, causing a small amount of bleeding before she fell down cold and limp.

Tempest smirked and simply watched the display as he finished playing. "There are more than just shape shifters, my dear. I guess you could take me for example, but I'll leave that little surprise until tomorrow." He said. "Then again, a few of you would know what I'm capable of just from past experience."

Femi gave a parting glance to Ruka's bleeding body. "Her heart has stopped, but not permanently. She'll be back up in exactly twelve hours." She said, "If we're lucky, that's enough time for us to fool Mason."

 

Femi grabbed Selune by one of her hooves and gave a parting glance to the other fighters. "If we aren't back before the end of the semi-finals, assume the worst." She said before leading Selune with her through the hall.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Mason latched onto each of Havoc's three unshattered limbs with thick tendrils and broke them in the same manner as before. With all of his limbs broken, he continued to struggle angrily. Every time he hit back at Mason, it had no effect.

 

(I think everyone can guess how this fight will end. I'll leave it to your imaginations.)

 Trench watched the scene without a saying a single word. He felt a slight shiver go down his spine when he watched Femi change and cut Ruka's throat. He would be lying if he said that was the strangest thing he's ever seen. He knows a few ponies that popped that cherry a long time ago. When Femi left Trench went back to bed to get some more sleep. 

 

A while later he woke up. After looking around a bit he could see that his prosthetic leg was still not recovered . HE sighed and put his things on to go look for it himself. Limping a little as he walked.

Godric decided the medical Ward would take too long and went about fixing his wing his own way by means of burning the breaks after filling them with something be hoped would make the bones work a little bit at least. He walked back to his hotel room in silence and went to sleep.

Crimson watched the whole situation without saying another word. When it Femi gave the details of her plan, then Crimson took that as a sign that their small meeting was adjourned. He nodded and gave one last encouraging look at Selune, before trotting to his sleeping quarters in the hotel, where he immediatly went to bed. This day had wore him out, and the sudden twist with Femi being a goodguy with a plan to help Selune didnt make things any less complicated. He would need his strength for tomorrow.

 Trench watched the scene without a saying a single word. He felt a slight shiver go down his spine when he watched Femi change and cut Ruka's throat. He would be lying if he said that was the strangest thing he's ever seen. He knows a few ponies that popped that cherry a long time ago. When Femi left Trench went back to bed to get some more sleep.

Juri report for work at the VIP lounge that evening. The cocktails could serve themselves. Her only real job was as a referee. She sat near the entrance of the stadium knowing that Trench would have had to walk past her to get to his hotel room. She didn't know that he was caught up in the commotion at the medical ward. In her lap, she carefully held his prosthetic leg.

Tempest sighed and exited the arena. It was pointless for him to stay and he would be better prepared if he slept. "At least that whole ordeal sorted itself out." He thought. "I'll have to be careful, though. Knowing my luck, I'll be fighting Crimson tomorrow."

Selune blinked once or twice she wasn't sure what she saw. A shapeshifter? One that's not a changeling as well? Then she proceeded to cut her throat, herself, or someone else did it... not like she was paying attention. She was literally in jawdrop of what happened.

 Trench looked every were in the stadium for his leg.Then he asked some of the clean up crew if they've seen it. But sadly they haven't. He even went to the  lost and found and strangely he did find a  prosthetic leg but it was for a right foreleg, and it was plastic and not metal.  He lets out a tired sigh and decided to head to the hotel to get some more rest and make a call to a friend of his to send him a replacement.  

 

When he walked out of the stadium he saw Juri when he was exiting. And when he saw that she was holding his leg he couldn't help but smile. Then he made his way closer to her, limping a little more with each step. When he got a bout two feet in front of her he gave her a bigger smile. "Looks like my metal leg made its way into the hooves of a lovely maiden. It's like a strange version of Cinderella, in a way." He chuckles at his joke.

It was taken by some lucky griffon fan in the stands. I got it back pretty easily though. Most of the boys here are eager to do me favors..." She looked down and stood upright. "I know it's late and you need to get your rest, but I want to talk to you about what we were talking about last night..."

Femi rushed Selune out of the stadium and into the cold night air. They began to travel further away from the stadium, past the hotel. "I promised you I would help you with your mental ailment," She explained, "but I can't do that by myself. I need to get you away from here and toward someone who can. And we have to do it quickly! I must get back before the end of Crimson's next fight!"

That I never liked him and he deserved it. He did deserve it! I never loved him and he certainly never loved me, but... I still feel really sad about loosing him." A tear ran down her left cheek, but she quickly wiped it off. "I don't miss my father for who he was, and I don't believe that he secretly loved me like every father should. I knew him too well to think that. He treated me like a barbie doll and exploited me for money. But now that he's dead, that's all I can ever remember of him. He didn't get redeemed! He never had a moment of affection! He never said he loved me! And though I know he never would have, I've always felt deep down that there was a chance that he would change! I thought that when he lost his money, he would appreciate me, but instead he tried to get it back and got himself killed! Why have I always gotten everything I've asked for but not the one thing I've always wanted?" She moved up closer to Trench and tried to hold back a new wave of tears.

She wasn't sure about all of this but she was still willing to give it a shot. "Y-you're being serious aren't you? You're not toying with my suffering right? That... that'd be really cruel. I am sorry... i am too paranoid right now it's not your fault."

She wasn't sure about all of this but she was still willing to give it a shot. "Y-you're being serious aren't you? You're not toying with my suffering right? That... that'd be really cruel. I am sorry... i am too paranoid right now it's not your fault."

There is nothing that will stop me now... i want this, and I... WILL... HAVE IT!" she said punctuating each word to a point that was almost like shouting. She quickened her pace feeling something alien take over her like an adrenaline rush. Maybe it was that... or something else. She couldn't pinpoint the difference right now.

She quickened her pace feeling something alien take over her like an adrenaline rush. Maybe it was that... or something else. She couldn't pinpoint the difference right now.

They both moved at that consistent pace for hours, only stopping very minimally for rest. When they got to the foot of the mountain range behind Canterlot, their pace slowed down. They had to follow a steep path up a winding road to get to their destination, which seemed to be the middle of nowhere.

 

Femi eventually lead her off the path and into a thick brush of trees. They had made good time. When they arrived at their location, they were still half an hour from daybreak. Their location, it seemed, was a wooded cabin.

 

The cabin was a shanty looking building with no lights on inside. It was painted pasty yellow with light green details, but the paint was fading with age. The inside of the house was almost as dainty as the outside. There was minimal furniture, but it still seemed to be cluttered due to the shack's small size.

@@Literally Snails,Selune kept silent. Not like she could do much else. She felt her heart beating loudly but even it was doused by the sense of emergency that their venture had. She was feeling uneasy too... she feared this might have awoken Shar with this. She tried to do what she always did... stay in control. She repeated that phrase like a mantra inside her head. It was all she could do from disturbing the resident of this wooden cabin.
