Why do some Bronies hate the intro?

I like the intro and outtro.  I loved it when Discord started appearing in Fluttershy's window.  I do think they play it too loud.  I remember when I first watched the show, I was a little trepidant about the show, but every time I was reassured that it wasn't going to be too twee.

 

I don't like the Italian or Japanese intro, and I'm into nearly anything Japanese, too hyper, too long.  Not representative of the actual pacing of the show.  I can see people in both countries being let down by the show itself because their intro is so hyper. 

 

I sing along with it too.  =)
