What if the ending of the season 4 finale....had gone wrong?

By which I mean, when the mane 6 were returning the magic, flight and strength to everypony Tirek drained, what if all the magic....got mixed up? What if the strength went to the Pegasi, the flight went to the unicorns, and the magic went to the earth ponies?

Actually, that's an interesting thing that the comics should explore. Marvel and DC both had their versions of official 'What If' comics where they went over what would have happened if things went different in continuity. Marvel's was called 'What If', and DC's version was 'Elseworlds'.

 

I can see a new MLP comic series along the same lines doing very well. Take out the whole 'is this canon or not' argument by stating explicitly that these are What Ifs.

I'm pretty sure that since ponies could voluntarily rid themselves of their magic, this could have been done again in order to fix the problem.

Isn't it the same magic? I think the only difference between the 3 races is how they use the magic.

Good question. I prefer to think that in an alternate dimension Tirek has won against the Mane 6 and conquered Equestria, Twilight being unable to find her key.
