My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie

How did you find MLP Forums?: Internet

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I saw bronys on youtube, I just wanted to check them out.

If I am going to become a brony, I guess I should know a few things. I have always wondered how bronys got attached to the show? And what is the show like? I saw something about a stallion called Dr.Woohoves? And these people seem to think that pony represents Dr.Who from the show. So just asking for a little info on the show.( Just no spoilers, please)! :)

Hello. Yes, Doctor Whooves is in fact a fandom based pony from Doctor Who, but Hasbro decided to canon him (meaning they made him a real thing). I am a brony, and I will tell you that it isn't all that bad. I do artwork and write the occasional book (nobody cares to read them however). I mean, it's just.. be yourself. We all fit in here, just.. in different ways.

Oh, I'm DarkPony663 by the way. Pleasure to meet you. I also go by cR Gmaer_Luna or just Luna..

Same way any person gets attached to a show. We see something we like and we watch it. I like the cute, colorful horses and fun stories with the mane six. Ocassionally they do something pretty badass and borderline Dragonball Z as well, which earns them some points. And on that note, there's action episodes as well. Or adventure episodes, as they call usually call them.

MLP has something for pretty much everyone. Whether or not it has enough for you to turn you into a brony (which is a term I personally don't like to use, due to my roots) is completely dependent upon you as a person and what you want from the show.

Hello!  Welcome!

Dr. Hooves isn't actually an official pony in the show.  He's a fanon character based on a background pony that appeared in the show that kinda resembled Dr. Who, I believe.

The show is a bit girly, but still enjoyable and loved by many guys because of the brilliant plot.  It's a show that revolves around friendship and tolerance and is just overall enjoyable to watch.  It was produced by the same creator of Foster's Home for Imaginary friends, so no surprise!

If you have Netflix, you can catch up to all the latest episodes and latest season.

Aww, I'm sorry, Dark!  I didn't mean it like that!  *Hugs*

And I didn't know that!  So Hasbro actually made him official?  Even if he's just a background character, it's still something!  :D  He's official then!

Hello and welcome!

As for Doctor Whooves, he is a brown stallion that appears in many episode backgrounds often with a visal gag to the show doctor who (as he resembles a pony tennant), and there is a large amount of fan works surrounding this, some even being rather good.

Gotcha, Dr.Woohoves is a backround pony. I am still very "extatic" to watch the show. I am thinking that I will get MLP in disk seasons when I watch them( since I dont have a netflix account). Man it is so nice to have bronys. Kids at my school can seem a little heartless at times, so I have been a loner at times. :(  But bronys are so kind, and caring. I dont know if this will sound wierd to you. But I love you guys, everypony that has appreciated me. So thank you. :wub:B)

Sorry that I got off topic a little bit, just starting in this forum.

I guess I like MLP because of my personality. I you have checked out my profile, you know that I am a lover, not a fighter. And there are so many problems on earth right now it makes me want to cry. Global warming is taking over, hunger plaugues the land, and a pipeline want to be put though B.C and Alberta that could destroy the environment. That is my home for goodness sakes!:(  And watching this show makes me happy, because it shows that love, is our greatest strenth.......sorry I got really of topic. But thank you for the info on Dr.Whoohoves. ( I will try to stop that what I just did) ^_^

Nope!  You're not the only one up still!

@Pinky:  No, you're not getting off topic!  And don't worry!  Discuss what you want in the introduction!  Your post count doesn't go up here in the welcome section, sadly.  =P

You might become a brony or might get just addicted while still liking what you liked & being yourself.  I'm not a brony, I couldn't get in in to the show after watching 5 episodes for a test, I find ponyart to be cute & simple, yet I like this forum for random fun stuff it's full of.

The morality lessons behind (usually in the end of each episode) is one of the things that kept me going. They are amazing, but make sure to adapt them in a realistic manner if you want to.
