I just started drawing and I drew this:

 

Should I make it into an OC? If so, can you help think of some names, colors, cutie mark, etc?

It looks adorable! Yeah, make it into an OC!

 

But overall that's up to YOUR decision. It's an OC if you want it to be.

 

The colors are your option, the name is all about the personality you give your OC, and the same with the cutie mark.

Okay, I colored her and I think I have a general idea of her personality, name, and cutie mark.

 

 

So, her name could be Stoneheart. She is a generally kind and caring pony. Ponies end up misunderstanding her since she looks scary and mean. She's just a lonely pony.

 

Her cutie mark can be a heart breaking out of stone.

I kinda based her off a gargoyle, except she doesn't have wings.

So, I took the ideas I had, tweaked and expanded on them, and came up with this, what do you guys think?

 

 

Stoneheart

Age: 20/Mare

Species: Earth pony

Personality: Stoneheart is a generally kind and caring pony. Many ponies misunderstand her since she looks scary. She's just lonely. She does tend to have a temper. She's an impish pony who loves playing pranks and being mischievious. It also tends to get her in trouble. She always tries to stay positive in every situation.

 

Cutie Mark: A heart breaking out of stone. It symbolizes that she doesn't want to be outcasted or misunderstood.

 

Backstory: Stoneheart was born in Appaloosa but moved to Ponyville when she grew up. She didn't fit in in Appaloosa, but she liked the small town feel.

Stoneheart's parents are two Earth ponies who don't really care about anything. She was left to feed and take care of herself at a young age. She never let it get to her.

She tried her very best at school but she could never really get anything right. Her schoolmates always avoided her and she was left alone. Nopony ever sat with her, or helped her when she asked for help. She never talked to them after they avoided her for such a long time.

She got her cutie mark one day when she was at school. She asked a pony for help, and they ignored her. Instead of walking away as usual, she shouted at the pony, telling her she was a genuinely nice pony and a pony just like everypony else. The other pony was shocked, and Stoneheart ran away, back home. When she got home, she noticed she finally had her cutie mark, as she was the last in her class to get her's.

Hey, that's cute, not even trying to flatter you but that is a LOT better then me when I first started drawing, (and arguably still better :/)

 

You should totally make that into an OC!

 

And nice backstory, BTW.
