I'm about to make a bold move, but I wanted to check with you first so I don't screw anything up. As I said before, I'm rather new to this, so I am unsure exactly how much we are able to affect the story. Not to spoil anything, but I currently have in the works a plan to separate Twilight and her element. From the way the story is going, I've assumed that we're going to chose between helping Celestia or the Brothers, and I've pretty much already sided with the two Brothers. If I'm about to throw a big monkey wrench into your story, just let me know and I'll default to plan B (get the heck out of Canterlot). I've greatly enjoyed your story so far, and I would hate to ruin it.

Yeah, I'ld prefer it if we kept the "major story-changing events" for later on in the RP, thanks for asking first.

Darn. Well, since I'm not doing it anymore I'll just go ahead and reveal my plan in it's entirety. First I was going to find a bird and capture it, sticking it into my vest pocket. Then I would have snuck into the sewers and used them to gain access to canterlot castle. Once inside the castle I would have stolen a guard's uniform and then snapped the bird's wing off. Fluttershy, hearing the bird's anguished tweets of pain and wanting to help it, would have then most likely rushed to my position; and the other elements of harmony would almost certainly have followed behind her. I would have then thrown the bird at them, distracting them so I could snatch Twilight's element right off the top of her head and fly of with it. I would have then counted on their surprise and Rainbow Dash's current predicament to buy me enough time to throw the element of magic out a nearby window, where it would hopefully have remained lost until the battle was long over.

Well, you'll see the Elements of Harmony, once out of the grip of Celestia, aren't nearly as powerful as they could be with fighting. You'll see just why the Brothers together are more powerful than the Elements in the hooves of Twilight and Co' soon. (Hint; it has to do with something with Snow's form of magic)

That's the easiest way, if you're on mobile or there's some issue (which happens quite a lot actually) you can alternatively click the 'Special BBCode' button (the green and blue square in the top left of the posting/editing box), select 'member' from the drop down window, and type in the name of whichever member you are trying to tag.

I've greatly enjoyed your roleplaying so far, It's really good stuff! But I fear since you joined a little latter then the rest of us, you've missed some important details. See here:

 

 

 

I did in the OP, it's Equestria 2 years after the Return of Nightmare Moon, sometime after season 2 but before season 3.

 

 

So the way I understand it the roleplay is set before Princess Cadence was introduced and before Twilight was made an allicorn. I don't think our characters are aware of their existence. If I'm wrong please don't hesitate to correct me, I make mistakes from time to time.
