The 5960X is a 140W CPU. I think that's the highest they'll go in the consumer market, though.

True enough. I was hoping for something a little more affordable for their mainstream chipsets, but then again that's what X99 is for. 5820K is just unbelievable for the money. Only problem is the high cost of DDR4 and... well, everything else you'd need for a setup like that.

The biggest problem with the 5820K is that the reduced amount of PCI lanes, 28 compared to the 40 the 5930K and 5960X have, but for most people that shouldn't really matter. I mean, Intel's consumer-level stuff is still limited to 16 PCI lanes and nobody's really complaining unless they need to install another PCI thing such as a sound card or another GPU. Otherwise, yeah, the 5820K is a damn good processor for the price.

I wanna play Mirror's Edge really bad but my "please register windows" error keeps crashing it.

Screw you, Bill.

I read some complaints about that, basically Intel segmenting it out as a budget chip but honestly I'd take the reduced lane count in exchange for the K any day of the week. 28 lanes isn't going to be a problem since many people are running 2x or 3x SLI on 16 lanes already.

Re-did my cables, I think it's passable now.  Also took pics with my good camera(Rebel T3)

Very nice cable management. Should help with temperatures and airflow.

Thanks, I cheated and weaved some stuff around back though. The hardest was getting the big-one from the PSU somewhere it fit.

My case is pretty much designed for easy cable management, so I should have a pretty easy time getting my cables properly routed the first time around.

Mine wasn't, sadly. I had to improvise and prey and I didn't block the back-plate from squeezing on(it took some careful wiggling it around, but it locked in nice)

I want to yell at someone though, I got it carefully meshed back together where it works for now but my SATA cable decided to pull the plastic out of the port in my Blu-Ray drive.

Just a note, once you allow them access to your steam account, they'll automatically hand the game to you without needing a steam code. Check your library if you did allowed them access to your Steam.

Takedown: Red Sabre. :eww:

I got two copies for a dollar and gave one to a friend. Still never played it co-op.

It was free, one of my online brony-friends elsewhere gave it to me. XD.

Goat Simulator is bad on purpose. Haha that's so bad it's hilarious-bad.

Takedown tried to be a competent tactical shooter.

The minute I tried a SP "training" mission and the AI one-hit killed me from over 1000 feet away and kept doing without fail I gave up.
