searching Price for Immortality [Need Cadence!] [Dark/Horror/Adventure?]

Nightmare Night is just around the corner in Equestria, it's a happy time for ponies to get outside and wear costumes of terrifying ghosts and goblins; every pony loves it. Every pony that is accept for Celestia and Luna, in fact they have been dreading it for the past several thousand years. The tradition of nightmare night may only go back as far as Nightmare Moons banishment but the day has had a haunting significance for much longer. You see Alicorns are not immortal, they never where, Cadence and Twilight will live just as long as any other pony; but why not the two sisters?

 

That question is about to be answered as the sisters invite the two other Alicorns to diner on Nightmare Night. Everything starts normally enough, the ponies sit around a small table and have playful small talk about nothing in particular, that's when everything goes downhill. Suddenly the moon turns the color of blood and every pony in Equestria becomes frozen in place, accept for the princesses. Claiming to have seen this before in the days of Starswirl the Bearded, Celestia mentions how the old wizard had fixed the problem before an probably kept notes on how to fix everything in his study in the castle of the two sisters.

 

Traveling to the crumbling structure Luna reveals a much larger underground area of the castle that was sealed off back when it was abandoned. Descending into the catacombs, the Alicorns find a map marking off the location of four keys throughout the castle that unlock the door to Starswirls ancient study. Yet retrieving these keys is no easy task, not only do the ponies have to navigate around a castle on the verge of falling apart that's laden with old spells and traps, but every key is protected by a powerful incantation that projects the worst fears into the mind of the one who tries to take it. The only way to escape is by conquering your worst fear, or else you'll never wake up.

 

After collecting all the keys the Alicorns converge on the door to the study and unlock it to reveal the it isn't a study at all but a room designed for sacrifice. That's when the sisters ulterior motives are revealed, ages ago when the sisters had been in power for many years and Equestria was prospering Starswirl was on his deathbed. The two Alicorns had developed a special bond with him and said they would do anything to make him happy in his final moments, that was the mistake. Seeing the prosperity their country was going through Starswirl implored them to use a potion of his own creation that can extend your lifespan by 1000 years but there's a catch, it requires two ground up hearts of ponies that hold you hold dear.

 

Naturally the two did not want to do it yet they couldn't disappoint Starswirl, and so they agreed to fulfill his wish to have a country that would prosper till the end of time. Since then every thousand years the sisters trick the two ponies who love them the most by making it appear that Equestria is in peril and luring them into coming into the catacombs so they can continue to live forever in accordance to their friend’s final request. Naturally Cadence and Twilight will not go down without a fight, yet Celestia and Luna are bent to do the deed as they reveal that Starswirls spirt has been tormenting them into do this.

 

So finally the spirit of the unicorn wizard reveals himself and urges them to kill Twilight and Cadence and they have a choice to make, either fill out the final wish of a friend from the past or sacrifice themselves for their friends of the present.......

-Romance is allowed if you deem it nessassary but it cant be much more that romantic banter and kissing

 

Whoa, that was a lot of writing. So that is my idea for an RP for this Nightmare Night season, the whole this just centers around the alicorns retrieving these keys in the trapped tunnels under the Everfree forest castle with the finale being centered in the alter room. If anypony is interested do say so down below, it would have made all that writing worth it
