Malachi's head shot back as he let out a little grunt of pain. He stumbles back a little but he stays on his hind legs. He pops his neck again and let out a chuckle. "Good hit, my turn." He took a few quick steps toward her and got to her side.  "This is gonna hurt." He then gave her a very strong kick to her stomach while she was still on all fours.

Refund spun on his stool to watch at the escalating brawl. "I'm in," he said, starting his martini. "Hope you don't mind if my wife Ruby tags along, too. That is if Anala wins, of course."

 

Ruby meanwhile stared at Anala and Malachi wide-eyed the entire time, refusing to believe what she was seeing. Ponies fighting for the fun of it? She had only seen such behavior on Bridleway shows but had never so much dreamed that a bar fight would take place fifteen feet away from her. She turned away and sipped her wine, wanting to disappear.

The fight didn't go unnoticed by the rest of the crowd.  Other Ponies started to form a loose circle around Anala and Malachi, some just staring, others starting to cheer them on.  A large stallion bouncer started to approach, but a glare from Ennex stopped him in his tracks....

 

Sakuya noticed the bouncer freeze, and tossed a look to her boss.  Growling slightly, she turned back to the fight, wanting to jump in to separate them.  The only thing keeping her in place was her greater fear of Ennex, should she disobey him.  Finally, she made the only choice left open.  Come on Anala! she silently cheered, you can take that punk!

Anala cringed and groaned from the kick whilst Bailey gave Riley some alcohol to stop him from going crazy.

 

"Think that I fight almost as well as a stallion?" she said. "Because I was going to say that about you!"

 

And with that, she leapt behind Malachi, grabbed his hind legs, and whacked him onto the floor as hard as she could.

Ruby catapulted her head off the counter and turned in the direction of the fight at the sound of Malachi's body hitting the tile. Any mare who could single-hoofedly take on a stuck-up stallion was a winner in her book. As the crowd started chanting Anala's name, she hopped off the stool and joined in on the cheers. Her husband looked at her inquisitively as she shuffled right next to him, both of them now equally intrigued by the fight.

Malachi quickly used his forehooves to block his fall. Then her rolled over and kicked Anala in the face to make her let go. He got back up and popped his neck again. "You ain't bad. But I know a few mares who are three times stronger then most stallions."  Then he ran towards her and did a body slam on her.

Reaching for his drink, Ennex smiled, watching the two go at it.  Perhaps I should add a fighting ring to the new casino, he thought, something tells me Malachi would enjoy it!  Noticing Sakuya looking at him, he shook his head 'no'.  A new friend she may have, but this is too entertaining to stop!  If the mare can't take it, I'll make Malachi stop, before he does too much damage...

 

Sakuya turned away from Ennex, frowning once again.  He's enjoying this too much, she thought.  Maybe I should do something...

In response to the body slam, whilst Malachi was still on top of Anala, the Earth mare bucked her rear hooves in the air with all her might, sending Malachi flying upwards, eventually hitting the ceiling. "Oh really? And when did you meet one of these mares?" she replied. It had always been her personal theory that one fought better when filled with loathe and rage for their opponent.

 Malachi grunted again but when he hit the ceiling, he used his back hooves to push himself off it and drop back on the mare at a fast speed. He then did a flying elbow drop on her, most like knocking the went out of her and cause a damn good bit of pain. "I met her in a boxing gym in Detrot." He said as he got off the mare and moved away from her to rub the spot where she bucked him. "She's so good even my strongest guy couldn't take her. Mostly because he was better at fighting with a knife and his teeth then with boxing gloves and rules."

Apparently, Malachi hadn't gotten Anala's joke. Nevertheless, this was the time for cracking bones rather than gags. She leapt forward and grabbed her opponent by the front legs and pulled him through the air to then land on his face on the ground. "Perhaps you can write me up this mare's contact details after the fight."

 He lets out a muffled cuss when he faceplanted. He rubs his nose as he got back up. Even thought his face was hurting he still had his excited smile on his face. "Sure thing, you seem like the type of mare she'll be into.  She tells me she has a thing for tough mares." He chuckled. He then got back on his hind legs and took a boxing stance. "Would you mind if we take a break with the tosses and wrestling moves and do a little hoof to hoof? I'm afraid of flattening my nose from too many faceplants." He chuckled again as he adjust his at to keep from falling off.

"Hoof to hoof. Fine by me," said Anala. "And tell this mare I won't be into her, if you're talking about the romantic sense. Though this does sound familiar," she said. "One time at a cider party, a mare started flirting with me. I wasn't interested. And because she was such a bitch, violence quickly broke out."

"That's a pity. Who know's, you might find out something about yourself if you tried being a mares mare." He chuckled. "There ain't nothing wrong about trying a few new things." He shrugged." But any who." He cracked his wrists to get his hooves ready. "Alright, bring it on, babycakes." He said as he got back in his stance.

"Wasup dude?" came a voice behind Ennex, and he turned around to see his favorite DJ leaning against the bar.  "Evening Vinyl," he replied.  "You playing your usual set today?"

 

"That depends," she replied, "are you going to leave me a club to play in?" she asked, waving a hoof at the nearby fight.

 

"What, you don't like a little entertainment?" he replied with a smirk, receiving a glare in return.  "Ah, very well."  Looking around, he spotted a lone stallion wearing a full-body black suit standing quietly in the corner.  He gave the stallion a nod, and received one back.  Then, almost as a blur, he launched himself in between the combatants, blocking them from each other.  He just stood there, looking first at Anala, then Malachi.  The other ponies in the circle around him seemed to back away slightly, at the air of dominance this newcomer held around him.

 

"Who's that?" asked Vinyl.

 

Ennex smiled.  "Ravage," he replied, and, taking a final drink, set the glass on the bar and walked over to the circle around the fighters.  "Alright," he called out, "I think that's enough for one day.  Perhaps we should retire to the bar for drinks, and let the real show on stage get started, eh?"  He cast a look at Sakuya.

She glared at Ennex.  About time you did something, she thought.  But when did Ravage show up?  I don't remember seeing him come in.  Of course, that was normal for Ravage...

Even though most of the ponies that formed the circle around them yield to the new ponies presents, Malachi on the other hand had a his devilish smile that's borderline to being almost giddy. When he heard Ennex say the name Ravage, Malachi got even more excited. Even his red eyes started to get a little brighter. He took a few steps forward to the stallion, forgetting all about his fight with  Anala nd focusing only on the dark stallion in front of him. 

 

"So you're Ravage. It's great to finally meet ya." His smile got bigger and his eye got brighter.

Ruby gasped as the newcomer broke up the fight and the rest of the ponies dispersed. She finished her wine before following her husband towards the bar area. Damn, she thought to herself, just when the fight was getting good.

 

"So you're Vinyl Scratch?" Refund shook the party unicorn's hoof. "Pleasure to finally meet you. Now, what did Ennex mean by the 'real show'?"

Leaning over to Refund and Ruby, Ennex pointed a hoof at Vinyl.  "The real show," he began, "is a blend of music that will blow away your mind!"  He laughed, and turned to the white DJ.  "Mind starting with a request?"

 

"Sure," she replied, "Whatchya have in mind?"

 

"Epic Rave and Failed Call," he replied, and faced the couple, "my personal favorite."  The DJ nodded, and headed down towards the stage, where a table covered in equipment, CD's, speakers, and more, was being set up.  He smiled at his two married friends.  "Prepare your ears," he joked, picking up his drink once again...

Meanwhile, Ravage's eyes shifted to stare at Malachi.  A few moments passed before he spoke, his voice was deep, with a thick (Russian) accent.  "You will not find it so great," he said, "if you continue this behavior.  My Master wishes this to stop, and so shall it..."

Malachi's devilish smile didn't falter. "Oh really know?" He said with his normal chuckle. "You may be on a leash and be at Ennex's beckon call. And even though we're partners now. That don't make him the boss of me. And I do as I please."Then he looked over to Ennex with a friendly smile while waving a hoof." No offence."

"None taken," he replied, stepping away from the bar, just as the music started up.  He approached the group of would-be fighters.  "And Ravage," he sighed, "you can dispense with the whole 'Master' thing.  We've talked about that."  The Jet black stallion simply stood taller.  "Do you wish me to remove these two?" he asked, nodding his head at Malachi and Anala.  

 

"No," Ennex replied, "they are my guests.  And Malachi is correct, he is a new business partner, and will get the respect that calls for.  Why don't you head over to the Warehouse and make sure things are ready for tomorrow's delivery?"

 

"Very well," Ravage replied.  "I will take my leave."  He started moving towards the door, pausing to nod at Malachi, and continued away, the other ponies in the room moving out of his path, careful not to make eye contact.  A few moments more, and he was gone.

 

"So, that's Ravage," Ennex said to Malachi.  "Not the best social skills, but loyal, skilled, and gets the job done..."

Sakuya took the chance to try to help Anala.  "You ok?" she asked, offering a hoof of support...

Refund found himself bobbing his head along to the music. It may not have his and Ruby's "our song" but anything to try to get in touch with the hip, younger crowd.

 

"I probably don't have to ask how smoothly the setup's going for the casino," Refund told him. "Sure can't wait to see it in action. I bet it'll be pretty sweet." He chuckled at another one of his puns. He then approached Malachi as he straightened his tie.

 

"I don't think I've formally introduced myself," He told Malachi. "I'm Refund Check and I cleared the paperwork to the casino."

Ruby broke off from her husband, trotted right next to Sakuya and also extended a hoof to Anala.

 

"You were amazing!" She complimented her. "Not too many women can take on a stallion the way you did."

 Malachi's wicked grin came back. "I can tell. I can't wait to go toe to toe with him one day." He chuckled. Then he went over to where his things were and put his Hawaiian shirt back on, leaving his bat and bags where they were and walked back over to Ennex. "I really wish you didn't sop us, It was just getting good."

Anala smiled at the compliments. "Thanks. Believe me, I'm ready to finish our fight later," she said. "You know, there was this one time I went to a place called Skipper Meadows and met some other ponies. First time for the four of us. Then one of them picked up a magnifying glass, and it zapped us, and bam! We were all shrunk down to the size of Bit coins."

 

"Well, it goes without saying, I got pretty pissed off at that guy. And he was all like, 'Idon'tknowwhathappenedpleasedon'tbeatmeup!' And he was huge and bulky! About the same build as that Big Mcintosh pony!" She threw her hooves in the air for emphasis.

 

"Then again, maybe it was because I had a bow and arrows strapped around my waist."

As the music changed to a new song, Ennex replied to Malachi, "Perhaps you can finish your, activity, later.  In the meantime, have you met my person banker, Refund Check?"  He waved a hoof at the teal-blue pony...

"Yeah, I would think an arrow in his face would be pretty threatening," laughed Sakuya.  "But what happened?  How'd you get back to normal size?"

 

(sorry for the delay and short post!  was working like mad to get next chapter of my fanfic done in time!  and my creativity is blank at the moment, lol)

Malachi looked to the white collar pony with a friendly smile. "Nice to meet ya, Refund. Names Malachi Semi." He then took the stallions hoof in a firm hoof shake. "I appreciate your heard work in dealing with the paperwork." Then he let go of his hoof and placed a friendly arm around the stallions shoulder. "How about I buy ya a drink. " Then he put another arm around Ennex's shoulder. "I'll buy us all one."  He said with a grin and then led the stallions over to the bar and ordered them all a glass of whiskey.
