searching Old Memories, New Nightmares [Cancelled]

OK, this RP is intended to take place within the nightmare of my OC Erythema where Princess Luna visits her nightmare to help to ease her own torment. Having been reunited with his brother SunBurn and the realization of how non-violent Equestria is compared to the island she grew up in, she's been doubting her past experiences and realizations. Here's a quote from her Character page which is deemed to be relevant here:
 

She's very much rejected every belief and habit she picked up from her native territory in order to start from a clean slate but in doing so, she has also left herself vulnerable to being haunted by her old memories. Her beliefs and her habits gave her the means to cope with the life she had but with those rejected, the memories of her old life haunt her in her nightmares as she no longer knows what it all means now that she's tasted peace in Equestria. What does her past experiences and realizations mean now? Why wasn't her native island like Equestria? Why did she have to kill to protect her family? Could things have been different? The pain of asking these questions can bring her to tears because never before has she experienced such pain in such a vulnerable place. But the most painful question of them all is, does she have a place -- a reason to exist -- in Equestria?

She grew up on an island during lasting territorial wars. Her memories are of that of her being a merciless soldier and that was the life she knew. Here's her personality in the present.

 

 

 

Very shy, very quiet, easily frightened. She's usually with her twin brother SunBurn so she lets him do all the talking while she just observes. Even if she has to say something, she'll usually just make gestures if it's something simple, sometimes giving ponies the impression that she's mute.

However, with fillies and colts, she is more likely to open up. Even in her soldier days, she really couldn't bear to harm foals, it would break her heart.

That said, even if Princess Luna got into her dreams, she would have to know of a way to get her to talk. 

 

The nightmare she's having is where she watches this cloaked equine slaw phantom equines while she sits tied down to a seat. All she could do is see this hooded equine slay these phantom ponies with frightening speed, strength and howls. Once all the phantoms are done away with, this hooded equine comes for her and Erythema gets very scared and tries to force herself loose but to no avail. Then comes the most frightening part when this cloaked equine takes off the hood, revealing itself to appear like Erythema herself but possessed and covered in shadow -- possibly the remnants of the phantom ponies slain. Seeing this, she becomes convinced that she's going to die next and usually this is where she wakes up frightened.

 

Something similar to this happened in the timeline within her backstory where SunBurn was the one held hostage -- not her. But just like her in this nightmare, he wasn't able to recognize this hooded equine as her own twin sister, just like she could recognize herself in this nightmare.

 

I'm hoping for this to lead to some character development.
