planning The Nevermore Tournament (OOC)

So...my last few RPs have flatlined, either due to lack of posting or lack of interest...so, with that in mind, I've decided to make another new RP. Why? I'm bored, I have the while weekend with nothing to do, and it'll give me some time to think of a way to defibrillate my other RPs. So, lets get this show started, shall we?

 

I have an idea for an anime/manga crossover RP, tournament style! I have the story planned out and everything! But before I get ahead if myself, I want to be sure that I'll have the right amount of players first. I'm looking for at least 6 players, but I'm hoping to have a max of 12.

 

Rules: the usual rules of the RP section, with the exception of nonOP characters, to an extent. Power in anime/manga standards is different than the regular standard level of power, so there will be quite a few OP characters allowed. However, characters with the capability to destroy planets is my limit, nothing above that, or this'll become more of a DBZ RP, lol.

 

Story: a high-omnipotent, interdemensional being, known as the Midnight Lord, has started the multiverses biggest tournament ever. The grand prize? The winners get to keep their homeworld! That's right, every contestant is fighting, not only for their lives, but also the lives of everyone on their respective planets. Every contestant in the tournament is either the strongest fighter on their planet, or one of the strongest fighters on their planet. Do the contestants have a choice on whether or not they will fight? Of course not!! Their worlds are on the line, after all! Hell, they don't even have a choice of whether or not they attend! As soon as the tournament starts, they are all pulled into the Midnight Lord's demension, and forced to fight. :3

Weapons/abilities: muscles of steel!

Well, I don't know much about Gurren Lagann...does he have a form that caps off at continent or planetary destructive power? Because that's as high as I'll allow, no character above that.

Well, second is theoretical able to destroy planets. Combined with the explosion of an enemy the size of the moon, it camp tear through space. Super galaxy dai gurren lagann is the first form capable of tearing space by itself. And that is arc combined with the moon. No that makes nice sense, I know. It is just gurren lagann logic. But regular current lagann is not that mmstring compared to other forms. Only really capable of city wide devastating attacks. Arc is planet busting, regular is city killing. And I won't be punching wholes in space either. Galaxy, would basically kill a whole galaxy so that is why I won't use it. Tengen toppa, how do you say multiversal destruction and still be weaker? So arc would be my choice, otherwise, I will settle for regular.

Well...Arc sounds like a good medium, to be honest. Base form Akira, my character, is around multi level. But his transformation increases his power to planetary destruction. Is it alright if I have you start GL out in regular form, and transform into Arc GL later?

Personality: is laid back and levelheaded most of the time, but can be easily angered, and won't hesitate in a fight. He can get along with most, but if you hurt his friends he'll hurt you back.

 

Weapons/abilities: he has a large magical metal ring called Zero R that seems harmless, but through the eyes of someone that is evil, it can appear to have malevolent Shurikan-like blades that can reach several dozen feet in diameter. These blades can only cut the souls of evil. He can also absorb energy through his left hand, project several unique abilities from his right (such as bone tentacles, turn invisible, augment strength, ect.). He can also manipulate and change matter at will with his left hand, as well as regenerate almost instantly from near-fatal wounds. He is very fast as well, being able to easily dodge beams made of light even as a child.

Weapons/abilities: His weapon is the mech, Gurren lagann. It's capable of spawning drills as it's offence and defence. These drills are formed by spiral power. He can absorb any mech into Gurren lagann with this ability. He can upgrade Gurren lagann by combining it with the Arc, making Arc Gurren lagann. At this level he was all abilities from Gurren lagann and some new weapons. The level of his power is planetary destruction. (crappy, I know but best I can did for now tired)
